Lovely little place that's been around for over 100 years!! Food is great! Cooked fresh to order. The fried clams were delicious!! The people frequenting the joint were super friendly and up for a chatty conversation. The few people that walked in had been there many times before but was surprised to see it still the same as they remembered. The owner was having a friendly chat with some other customers and I joined in. I would recommend this place for a great casual meal...
Best barbecue chicken around…. Hands down! All hand battered fried food of the best quality !! It would be a mistake not to make it here while you’re in Gloucester, they make the barbecue sauce home made 3-4 times a day! My favorite place in town. BEST fries too! Never crinkled or soggy… onion rings are far from bland and to DIE FOR! It’s my go to place at least once a week! It’s a shame how nasty some NewHampshire-ites get on here when they’re impatient and hangry...
Most of the other reviewers apparently live under a rock where the price increases of the past couple years haven’t hit yet. Food is decent and priced appropriately for the setting and costs of doing business
