I was on an errand Yesterday to the Post Office Boxes for a friend. I got there about 2 minutes after 12 and just missed them. I had no idea they closed for lunch, and I missed them by minutes. Being from out of town, I decided to walk Lexington Ave, which was lovely. My son was with me and we decided to stop in to Girlfriends (love the name) for coffee. Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars doesn’t know what good service is. My man and I had a fantastic breakfast, strong coffee, and learned a little about the history from the two lovely women working. Came all the way from MN and will definitely come back when we are in town again!

As someone who can’t eat either gluten or dairy, this cafe is by far the best I’ve found anywhere on the North Shore!

The staff always go well out of their way to accommodate me and anyone with a gluten allergy. And the best part is that the food they make is not only perfectly safe, but EXTREMELY delicious!
