Great prices for delicious food! Came with high expectations and the food and service definitely exceeded that! Great people, tasty food, and amazing service!

First and second time visiting Kings over a few days. Their Jr. 3 way ranks in my top 3 North Shore Beefs. Very consistent between two visits. A nice big stack of fresh rare pink beef, condiments were perfectly proportioned to the rest of the sandwich. Fresh lightly grilled bun. Tasted fantastic. Good variety of the usual fare on the menu, pizza, subs, pasta plus all the sides you’d want. Steak fries were nice and crispy. The people running the show here are (and I cannot stress this enough) *Extremely* pleasant and the place is spotless, which can be a challenge in a restored diner. It’s clear these folks take pride in their work, as well as how it’s presented. Absolutely solid choice if you’re in the area.

Best fried haddock sandwich in town. Roast beef also first rate.

i had a steak tip salad. the steak was cooked on the charcoal grill was made the steak THAT much better. the salad was so fresh & crunchy.
my son had a chicken finger kids meal & the portion was bigger than any place in town. & was delicious.
i def give this a all around 5 star ..& the staff was extremely polite & welcoming. (even with a busy 6 year old) which is also a plus !!

Amazing food, service, and pricing.

Definitely get the King roast beef sandwich, only 10$ for a delicious and massive slab of roast beef with sauces and sesame bread. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

After being a cult like lover of Kings Famous Roast Beef Sandwiches for years, I read it had changed haand the reviews said it was greatness as usual?. Being a bait/seafood truck driver it was my first stop when I hit Gloucester for a decade and I thought it was time for wifey to give Kings a test munch and as ALWAYS.....Awesomeness To The Max !.
Met the owner and I think his Pop?, Great guys and the nice gal at the register set us right up.
Congratulations Kings Famous Roast Beef Sandwiches New owner and thanks for keeping it Gloucester and well worth the 240+ mile ride down from Maine to partake!!.

Went here many years ago with my Grampy. There are new owners now. Food was ok, but not like I remember. Curly fries were the best part of the meal. Cooked to perfection.

The food is delicious and service was A1. We dined in yesterday after a whale watch esperience and had a great time. The restaurant is very laid back and modern diner. Great food and portions. Staff was fantastic and provided great hospitality.
