Stopped here to have a drink with family. It was crowded but there were at least 5 empty tables in the outside area. I asked at the bar if we were allowed to sit at the tables and the waitress very rudely told me to see the host. The host seated us, no questions asked. We ordered drinks and told the waitress we were not eating. She angrily snatched the menus from us without saying anything about us not eating. Two minutes later the host came over to tell us that they need the table for people eating and that we could just stand around the bar. We said okay, no problem and that we didn’t know. He kept lecturing us as if we were arguing with him. It was mid-afternoon and there were many empty tables but regardless, if this is their policy that is fine. The condescending attitude and obvious anger from several people was totally uncalled for. We decided to just leave to not subject ourselves to any more of it. We had been there once before and noticed the waitresses arguing openly. After this and today’s experience, it’s clear that this bad behavior is part of their service culture. Totally unimpressed. Save your money.

This was a true find as we weren’t sure what to expect at lunchtime. You could tell the locals were here and it was easy to see why. The services, food and staff were all on point. The French dip we had was over the top!! Now we see why roast beef is so popular in the area.

The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the seafood risotto! Only downside was that it was so busy, so it was loud. Makes sense why they were busy, it was amazing!

Had the hanger steak tonight for dinner. It came medium rare as ordered, tender, juicy, and flavorful. I requested onion rings on the top and they were perfect- sliced thin, perfectly battered, and with a satisfying crunch. The truffle fries were also thin sliced and delicious. Our server was lovely and spot on with everything we requested. Our table had a beautiful view of the marshes. We and our friends had a wonderful night. A big thanks to the owner and staff!!
