Good, solid choice for inexpensive, no frills pizza. Selection isn't wide... One size only, modest range of toppings. But good crust, never soggy or floppy, toppings ok. Recommended for takeout. For eating in, there's no table service, you get your food from the counter and take it to your table. We found the Caesar salad overdressed.
As we were in Gloucester, and we had to wait for 40 minutes until our Commuter train ride, we decided to eat anything fast. Maria pizza was exactly in front of train station. We were the only one customers. We ordered just a pizza and some fries with beer. It took us 30 minutes of waiting, until we finally got our order. Absolutely fabulous pizza! Thin crust. Great flavors. Restaurant was very busy with orders while we enjoyed our meal. Staff is very welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit sooner than later.
