Markouk is special! Clearly traditional, perfectly seasoned, priced conservatively and humbly presented, some of the best takeout available in Gloucester.
I go to Markouk Bread often. It's a popular place for my coworkers and I to grab lunch. Their good is always fresh and flavorful. Everyone who works there is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.

It is all so delicious, and we believe their grape leaves and their baklawa are the best we have ever tasted!!!
