My new favorite place to get general tsos tofu! They keep the tofu seperate from the sauce and rice so it doesn't get soggy which no other restaurant has done when I get take out. :-) the sauce was definitely house made, the tofu was crispy and chewy, the amount of sauce they gave was very generous. For $16 it'll last me 3 meals. Huge portion of tofu. So delicious.
Im not one to get chinese food and normally opt for their sushi for take out. Tonight I got something I haven't eaten in probably a decade- general tso chicken. Delicious- juice thick cuts, light breading, no grisly fried bits!
I've stopped in a few times now before I go to work, and each time is absolutely lovely. I had only come in once before and Jason recognized me and was incredibly sweet, even pointed out a luncheon deal I had missed and I was able to have leftovers on my break. I came in after work tonight to beat the cold while I wait for the train and once again Jason greeted me warmly! The hot and sour soup is my go-to, always full of mushrooms and has a spice that isn't overwhelming...
