Probably the best grilled cheese with lobster you'll ever find!

I ordered the eggs Benedict which was fine. My husband and friend ordered corn beef hash and the corn beef came in chucks with diced potatoes and per them lacked favor. Our friend ordered fried eggs and got poached. The staff kept forgetting to bring toast, extra holladise sauce and jams. Toast and jam were on the description of the corn beef hash. The view was beautiful but won't go back.

Most expensive clam chowder ($12.00/cup) and fish&chips ($29.00) on the Gloucester/Essex area. French fries were cold although plenty of them. Fish was in strips vs. a filet. Chicken tender appetizer were way overdone. Bottled beer was cold and good.
One and done.

My wife and I eat at numerous restaurants in Gloucester and Essex. Mile Marker One was ok, just ok for quality. Chowder was good but the fish and chips barely gets a passing grade. The servings were strips of fish, not a filet that most all restaurants provide and the coating has a competitive flavor with the fish. It's not neutral. Finally, price is without question the highest of all the local restaurants for what we ordered. So, not worth the price by far and this is a one-and -done for us. Too bad because we were expecting something special.

Innovative, tasty food. Huge servings. Salad was split 3 ways as an appetizer. We will be back!!

Entre's have become much more expensive over time. Not many realistic priced ones. Best part of restaurant is its ambiance.

The hotel, restaurant rests on the Auguwam basin of water. Lots of parked boats. Great view and good service.

My son and I went there for dinner. They were not busy when we arrived so we got seated quickly. Shortly after they started getting busy. The waitress was nice, she took our order and the appetizer came out quickly. However, after that it felt like they forgot about us. All the tables that came in after us got their food. The waitress finally came over and told us ours would be out in 6 minutes. 20 minutes later we got our food. The manager or owner was walking around checking on tables, he checked on the tables around us, stood next to our table to check on a group of men but not once checked if we needed anything. About 5 of the other tables that came in after us had already paid and left. We waited another 30 minutes and then I started walking around the resturant looking for someone to take my payment.

Having lived in Gloucester for many years, never tried it before. Very nice dining room with one of the best views in town. Food was definitely top-tier. Lobster roll, steak tips, haddock, seafood casserole all were high quality.

I ordered the char-broiled oysters for my last night in Massachusetts…they came raw, were taken back and then I was brought the oysters that claimed the next 24 hours of my life…food poisoning…I was vomiting blood along with bloody diarrhea…10/10 would not recommend

We had lunch inside, overlooking the docks and boats. We could see the Cut Bridge from our table. We brought an out-of-town guest, and we all really enjoyed everything about it: the white tablecloths and attention from our waitstaff and manager. The food was great as usual. Thank you!

We had 6:30 reservations for outside, arrived on time, and were seated quickly with an amazing view from our table. Unfortunately, it took at least 45 minutes for our wine to arrive as we had ordered a bottle to try and alleviate waiting for the “second round “. After that, food arrived at normal times but it just wasn't the experience we had planned on, or had had before when eating there. Next time I will plan on a later reservation, or order something else.

Accommodated a reservation for a super big group (several dozen people) with graciousness and professionalism! Our headcount kept changing leading up to the event, but the venue was great about seating us at tables nearby to each other for the folks who were overflow from the original headcount. This was a unique and special day for our group, so the kindness of Mile Marker One in facilitating us being together even though it must have complicated from their end really meant a lot to us. Thank you so much!!!
