Stopped for a quick appetizer and cocktail after the beach. Yes the beach in October, what a beautiful day. Had the Chowder and Mussels before the ride home. In season place is always packed as you sit by boats overlooking the marina. Nice atmosphere and not busy this time of year which is a plus. Not cheap but we always like the atmosphere here. Worth a visit!!

Great place directly at the waterfront. Live music playing and lots of seafood. Tasted great and service was also great.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options on the menu, all of the fried items seem to be gluten free.

We ended up with a rainy weekend so we chose to eat here because it is attached to the hotel we were staying at. We were told the food was good so why not. The mood of the restaurant was nice and it was very clean. We were seated pretty quickly but then waited almost 7 minutes before someone came to even pour water. We ordered drinks and appetizers. It was a longer than usual wait before these came out. The clam chowder was delicious. Then we waited almost another 50 minutes. We had to flag down our wait person and ask where our food was. She said it would be right out, and it was another 10 minutes. My friend had a food allergy so we had asked a lot of questions before ordering. At that time, the wait person said she was "new". Given that we tried to give her some grace, but she was inattentive over all. Once the food came, my friend's side-dish was cold. There was no place on the menu that described this dish as "chilled". The protein, a pork chop, was fine, but the temperature of it and the vegetable were both tepid because of being laid over a chilled side item. Most of the ingredients in the chilled side dish were not listed either, as this would have prevented ordering this item. The wait person did try to rectify this by bringing out a side of hot mashed to replace the chilled side.
I had the lamb chops which were delicious. They were served with garlic mashed. These seemed to look very good until I moved them on the plate and a number of fruit flies climbed out of and over them!! I took pictures and a video.
Needless to say, we had lost our appetites and asked for the check. The manager comped a fair portion off the check. However, it took almost another 10 minutes for someone to pick up the check and credit card. We ended up being there for just about 2 hours. Several tables were seated, served, and left before we finished this ordeal. I'd like to think that this was just a fluke, but we had such high hopes for a nice meal that fell right off the dock and sank to the bottom of the marina.

Went to this place twice, once for take out dinner and brunch the next day. Got the seacuterie board and mimosa flight for brunch and was not disappointed. Had swordfish for the first time and loved it. Highly recommend.

The restaurant was very nice. The views were terrific. When we arrived, the restaurant was not crowded so it was quiet. By the time we finished, it was full and a reunion (?) group was somewhat noisy. There was one server. At the beginning that was fine but later it was not sufficient. I think a second server started when we left. The pricing was on the high side but the food was excellent.

Although most of our party was delayed by 45 minutes we were seated. In appreciation we placed an order for appetizers, which were great. The crab cakes ordered without the standard fixings but instead drawn butter were awesome - my favorite item here. Once everyone was present our server Yuri was wonderful. Yuri handled all seven orders with ease and help the children understand the menu. The ambiance and view is excellent.

Was highly looking forward to eating here, and it turned into a disappointment. The appetizers were outstanding, bang bang gulf shrimp, sriracha honey cauliflower bites, and tahini hummus, whipped feta, and green olive tapenade were all extremely well prepared. The olive tapenade was the only part that fell flat, over pureed which left you with a baby food texture, the whipped feta was out of this world. For the main dishes, we had the shrimp and lobster scampi, which fell far from anything scampi. Seafood was cooked well, but the overall the sauce was lacking flavor, and the pasta amount was light. The chicken piccata was less than stellar and also fell on flavor. Both dishes presented nicely but were short on execution. We took a chance on ording the flights of margaritas and mojitos, both came out heavy on the alcohol and little on the flavor, they seemed rushed and lacking any sort of bartender flare to balance a drink.

Came to Gloucester for the day with my husband to grab lunch and we stumbled upon Mile Marker. Restaurant located in Cape Ann’s Marina Resort right on the water. I ordered the fried haddock sandwich which came with potato salad. The sandwich was so good, and the tartar sauce complimented it well. The portions were large, and the service was fast. The view from our table overlooked the dock and boats. What a great view for an afternoon lunch!

Service and atmosphere are nice but...the food left a lot to be desired. All the food we ordered was mediocre with exception to the bang band shrimp. The lobster roll had no flavor, we got both hot butter and cold mayo. We also got the ribs which were lackluster. The fish and chips had no flavor. The kids pasta was decent. The drinks were not good. Like I said great location but needs work. For the price I was expecting better food, but I got sub take out Chinese food quality.
