I love this place! However we stopped by and the sign in the door says it's closed for renovations, not sure why Google won't take the edit.

First time at this restaurant, wasn't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly pleased. Food and service was great. The fish was delightful, says my Sweetheart, and the steak was cooked perfectly, cobb salad for two was also great.Chris , the host, is top notch, awesome, a really nice gentleman. He steps in and helps out wherever it's needed, like bringing those popovers, smoking hot to the table , or polishing the tableware as I saw him doing as we were leaving. He's not like some hosts I've seen at other places, standing around with their thumb up their arse. Cheers to you Chris and also our waitress who was also awesome, got us anything we wanted in a timely manner. The only gripe small table for 2. I like to be spread out when I dine, but I understand. Next time I will request a table in the main room. Thankyou for your hospitality, much appreciated ! We'll be back !!!

Parking: Tight, and tough to find parking .

Great place for great food! Salmon dinner and rolls were incredible! We would definitely come back again!

Delicious, ecletic menu and utterly charming atmosphere. Warm popovers brought to the table upon seating are an incredible touch. We received a great wine recommendation that paired perfectly with our dishes. The haddock was a standout dish, but it was all great!

We were excited to eat at Passports on our first night in Gloucester and arrived at 8:15pm on a Tuesday night after just getting into town. The website and Google said they close at 9. When we walked in, hungry after a travel day and excited to eat after reading reviews, the hostess was very rude in telling us that they weren't going to seat us because it was too close to closing time. It would have been one thing if she told us nicely, but she seemed to go out of her way to be unkind. Passports should update their closing times on their website and Google if they stop seating 45 min before they close. We will not be returning because of the rude staff.

The most bland, pedestrian, and unseasoned clam chowder. It's hard to believe Passports serves this chowder in Gloucester-of all places. Get a new recipe and show some respect for the coastal area. Also, the lobster wontons were equally uninspired and contained zero lobster. I will never return to this restaurant.

Food was delicious. Haddock was moist and very flavorful. Small place but cozy. Parking may be a bit challenging.

Parking: We got a ride to and from Passports Eatery.

What a great little spot. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for chatting and catching up. The host and wait staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is great and the popovers add a nice touch. The only issue I had was a meal called for risotto and was served with rice. It still tasted amazing and didn't stop me from going back.

I went with two of my sisters after seeing an exhibit at the CAM. A short walk to a delightful evening! Excellent service, beyond delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend the “sisters haddock “ as many reviewers have also… so fresh & a delight to the taste buds! My sisters had the grilled salmon & fish and chips. Everyone was happy with their meal. My favorite Chardonnay was only 11$ per glass! You can’t go wrong here. No room for dessert but we did enjoy the popover which arrived at our table as we were seated. I wish I remembered our waitress’s name, as she was terrific. Can’t wait to return. Cynthia
