I came along the Poseidon's when visiting Gloucester and ordered a freshly made Brick Oven Pizza.
Even If it was a busy Friday evening, the staff were very friendly and I got my Pizza within 15 minutes and enjoyed it at the waterfront.
The Pizza was real nice and the other dishes also looked real good.
A good recommendation for picking-up a good pizza in Gloucester.

Pretty expensive. Got a garden salad for $12, it was small and not much to it. Italian sub was $15 and also small and very skimpy on the lunch meat. I come from the birth place of hoagies so I know my sandwiches. Plus the forgot my fries

After I waited an hour, my pizza wasn't ready. My grandchildren were at my home, excited for pizza. Long story short, after being lied to, they made the wrong pizza. The other food was horrible as well.

It’s a sub/pizza place. But the people are very friendly and accommodating. The view is Gloucester Harbor. Enjoy a slice, friendly conversation and an ocean view. Pizza is good. Thin…not pan. A little more cheese than I like compared to the sauce which makes it a tad oily. But I’ll keep going there because the people behind the counter are great. The view helps too. Mind the draw bridge!

Got the Godfather sub, Chicken cutlet, basil, tomatoes, mayo, balsamic vinegar, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella...14.99 I was expecting this to be a big sub... It was tiny... There was hardly any chicken cutlet in it...most of it was chopped tomatoes, small amount of basil ..There was no roasted peppers and the fresh mozzarella was very scarce .... My son ate it in less then 10 min!!! He was starved because delivery took too long...ordered at 8:15 arrived at 9:23...and it's literally around the corner from me??? Empanadas...2 chicken 1 beef...again very tiny...and $4.99 a piece ???? I get Empanadas from Salem mass for 2.99 and they are huge,!!! Also they packed tomatoes sauce inside the container with the Empanadas and the lid was off and the tomato e sauce spilled all over the entire Empanadas so they were soaking wet!!! Dinner was ruined...$42.00 and delivery charge and tip..$48.00. And now I have to cook something else for my son because he's still hungry!!! If your going to charge $15.00 for a sub it should be very substantial...!!! I really like your pizza , I think you have the best pizza in town but it's way too expensive and I only order it once in a while, every other month but after tonight's food I think I won't be ordering anymore.

I have tried pizza at a few different pizza places in Gloucester and they were ok but at this place the pizza was heavenly! Absolutely delicious! Perfect crust, sauce and cheese. If you want real Neapolitan pizza, go to Poseidon's.

Mixed feelings. What we "got" for food was ok but 2 nights in a row so many things wrong or missing. Pickles on 2 grinders not there. No balsamic on grinder. Loaded with balsamic. Items removed from salads still present. Next night both pizzas wrong toppings or missing toppings. Called numerous times. No answer or says line is busy call back later.
Best pizza in Gloucester , i like the slice pizza 🍕 options they have ,
Too high priced sub shop. Typically myself and coworkers order out daily for roughly $10 lunches in Gloucester, but not for $17 close to $20 as this sub Shop charges. But, we’ll pay more if we’re at the organic stores.

After change in ownership I have given this establishment multiple chances to prove itself to me. But every time I get food I am always left extremely disappointed and upset that I wasted money on this place. I’ve gotten pizza multiple times, every time it’s soaked in grease because they use cheddar cheese. I tried the Mexican once a quesadilla It made me extremely nauseous afterwords. Today was kind of the last stand before I decided it was time to say something. I ordered a Tuna with pickles a staple in Gloucester sub shops, not only was it astronomically expensive $17 for a tuna sub it was tuna salad which is just more filler than tuna. I’m so sad that this establishment has failed in every category it tries to fall in. If I want to pay a lot for food I’ll go to the causeway where at least there I can guarantee that I will get a large amount of food for my dollar. Or if I want a sub go to The new waterfront cafe where I know the food and service is consistently good. To the owners of Poseidon’s, you’re trying to fit into too many boxes and it just feels like it’s hurting you. As a suggestion I’d focus on improving your food and earning your astronomical pricing. It simply feels like I’m being robbed every time I order from your establishment and I can’t justify coming here anymore.

I was surprised how good this pizza was. I thought I had tried it a few years back and it was standard lousy pizza that the kids would eat.
Grabbed 2 pies tonight. One cheese and the spicy Sicilian sausage.
The cheese was delicious. Super flavorful. The Sicilian was a huge deep dish pizza. Very filling and tasty.
Right at the Blynman bridge makes it a super convenient choice.
We shall return.
Decent pizza, convenient spot if you are close to the beach. Pizza was fine, a bit greasy, standard for a local pizza spot. Price was not the cheapest but reasonable. Sandwiches seem good, cant comment on pasta dishes
No public restrooms, some seating available inside
Awesome nice place and pizza was so well done.
Fantastic food, service, and a welcoming atmosphere! Would absolutely recommend to anybody. Don't miss out on this gem!
