I have been going to Prattys since I was 24. until recently I have noticed they do no measure their pours, nor do they clean their lines. If one were to point this out or end up intoxicated from either one of these dismissals and speak up inside their venue you are "disbarred." This bar clearly opens early to those who are in need of their alcoholic fix (shame on Prattys), because these poor people who may or not need or want to seek help. On the other hand there are people who just want to grab a beer after work, but if bouncers or bar tenders hear that you are not a fan of how they separate the regulars from the outsiders who just want a beer or one drink after work you are not allowed in. When asked what you might have done to be "barred" there is no answer. In closing this bar does not even serve food but are willing to pour the stiffest drink you've ever had very dangerous combination!

Had heard about this obviously, it had been used in Manchester by the Sea, however, I was delighted to find out. It was just as authentic as I hoped. The lady working, there was amazing to us. The place smells so good for five pool tables. You can play at your leisure on great beer. Lots of history, and I would certainly come back and I was invited to so I plan a trip so I can't say enough good things about a place that is as real as it gets where they make you feel that you're already at home!

If there was a 0 star option I would’ve done that. Worst place I’ve actually ever been to, and honestly I’m surprised I didn’t catch some sort of std walking through the door. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a homeless person. The only good thing about this place is the one tall skinny bar tender, he’s a nice guy. Every other employee hates their life and job and makes it everyone’s else’s problem they are living paycheck to paycheck. DO NOT GO HER

Great local fun family bar , prices umm let's say Amazingly low prices BUT Great Drinks food games friends ect. Must Try it you will love Gloucesters old school safe fun dress type lol. Pj's or a wedding dress an all in-between lol an there food is so good an so inexpensive must try I know 9 out of 10 will stay for more then one Enjoy

I was probably too young or too old to be there...but I enjoyed it :-)

I wanted gritty not dangerous. I was confronted for the smallest inconsequential perceived slight by a nobody that claimed he is the cousin of the bartender. I put my drink in a spot that was fine but some drunk had a problem with it and proceeded to complain and shook my hand way too tough, rough and rude and looked like he was going to murder. Um take your meds. The bathrooms are weird and the place is dirty. Parking is ok. Rude vibe and if you're not a bummy fisherman or local boozehound forget it. Not a cool dive bar and I love dive bars. Just a crappy spot that needs to be turned into a starbucks.

Went with some friends, we weren’t loud or anything and it was so uncomfortable in there, bar tender was rude when asked a simple question and the people seemed to not want anyone but themselves there, it was close to where we were staying and seemed nice for a low key time but won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who isn’t from around there. Work on your socializing skills to keep people from feeling bad being there, we left within 20 minutes.
