Best Omakase in North Shore. Saftely top 3 in New England as of 2024. The menu design reminds me of Sugita and Masa. Chef Lee put in a lot of thoughts sourcing local fish whilst serving authentic Japanese Omakase experience.
It would be nice if they offered sake pairing though

Thank God Sushi Sang Lee is an hour from my house—otherwise, I'd go broke. Everything was perfect: pleasant atmosphere, quiet, and clean. Local Saba, Hotate, and Ankimo vs. top-quality raw fish—the real winner is the customer.

I have been to Sushi Sang Lee many times and I cannot say enough good things about the sushi that Sang makes and about Sang himself. He loves what he does, has a passion for it and excels at what he does. I have sat for all the experiences whether it is the 14 or 18 course Omakase, the 8 course hand roll dinner or having a bento box, all are so incredible and have Sang’s magic hand in it. The team he has around him is also incredible and very hospitable. I will always be a repeat customer and I’m so glad my sister found this place so that we can continue to enjoy for the many years to come.

This place is special and the food is amazing! I even had two items I often ignore because they're not very good at other places but I thoroughly enjoyed everything here! 10/10 when I'm back in the area I gotta bring a couple friends. Seating is limited and you gotta make a reservation early. Definitely worth it!

Oh and I've never had monkfish, it was my favorite of the night! Thank you for everything :3

The truest definition of a hidden gem. This was my favorite omakase experience thus far. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, complimented with a super clean Japanese aesthetic. Each course set me up to have my mind blown several times all the way up to the final dessert course. I have to give a separate shout out to the wasabi though, because it was the smoothest, most pleasant kind I've ever had —even my partner, who usually has a lower tolerance for it, was able to enjoy it.

The single hand roll in the 18 course omakase convinced me to book the next immediate hand roll omakase, and it was extraordinary. The toro hand roll add on is a MUST. This place is a MUST. Also, Sang Lee is a true gentleman —ensuring females among the groups get served first. Respect. To top it off, this place is tucked away from the city traffic and metered parking. Bless. We appreciate you Sang Lee, and we'll be back!

As always Sang Lee is a master of his craft. No pretense, no silly gimmicks, just pure skill, the best fish around, and aged, home made sauces and touches that tie it all together. If you want a true Omakase experience, you wont find better. I leave it to Sang Lee!

Easily the best sushi I have ever had. Watching Chef Lee prepare rolls and talk about them is half of the experience. This is a must if you are a sushi and seafood lover. Absolutely will be back for Handroll night. Thank you Chef Lee!
