The place have a nice atmosphere. Having said that, the bar experience was horrible. The pre mixed drink was not drinkable.

Sun 9/14 game time Visiting Gloucester for first time and needed to find a sports bar that had the Bills on. Tried a spot but they only had hook up for Patriots game. I get it. They recommended The Cut. Walked over to the Cut and they brought up all NFL games- Go Bills!. Multiple large TVs. Comfortable areas to watch. People were friendly and service was excellent. Upscale atmosphere. Clean environment. They may be, don’t quote me, the only place to watch multiple sports games in the area. O and had Buffalo wings which were delicious!

Cool place for live entertainment. Food is basically bar food. Burgers, chicken, fries, coleslaw , full bar. Excellent dance floor and sound system out back. Pool tables out front.

My wife and I went to a show at The Cut for the first time ever this summer. It was really fantastic. It's a nice venue, with a great restaurant, and a book really cool acts.

New club space with an awesome dance floor. Generally easy to navigate.
Reprise nailed the sound making it easy to enjoy them from anywhere in the room, even directly in front of the speakers and low stage monitors. Once again, this band set the time machine to bring us back to when Phish playing the Orpheum was their largest venue to date and they had impressive 11 and 16 song lists to prove that they were deserving of the expansion! A lot of tricky/ difficult songs and, to pick one, a remarkably good David Bowie reminded us of Bowie's of yore. May 16, 1992 in August of 2025 was a prodigious undertaking and Reprise and The Cut... DELIVERED~!~
If your favorite musicians are slated to play here, check it out. A well run, clean, and easy club in good ol' Glosta!

the fish tacos were tasteless for 15 dollars and the tortillas were uncooked and also like 1$ gluten free corn ones

Service was fast and drinks were great! The only issue I had was the bartender with mullet seemed disheveled and looked at my bowling shirt with lust.

My student from O'MALLY played a concert here, and they were incredible! We way down to wait and The service at the bar was amazing, as was the server who brought me over a large crisp Sprite and the most phenomenal plate of parmesean truffle French fries I have ever laid my taste buds on. My heart stopped for a moment, and I forgot where I was. Thank you for that incredible experience. I will be back!

Cool little gay bar drinks are not the best

New and perfect for live music. Big enough for big bands, yet intimate enough for smaller stuff- no matter what size the crowd

Pretty cool place. They recently started opening up in the evenings for dinner. Fun place to eat if you have kids. They have arcade games, board games, and jenga to play. Some of the machines did eat up some of our quarters. Lost 1.50; but still fun! They had a boxing game, racing game, pinball machine, basketball game, and a golf game. Bring cash/quarters for the games!
The food is ok. Reminds me of food truck style. Fish tacos are small very fried. They were tasty but not my fav around town. My son had the smash burger and inhaled it! The fries were yummy!
The restaurant set up is nice and roomy. When you walk in, there aren’t really any instructions. If you’re visiting from out of town with no knowledge of this place- You don’t really know what you’re doing. I’m live in town and still had no clue what I was doing 🤣 Here’s a run down- You seat yourself, then scan a barcode at your table to order food. I think you’re supposed to pick it up at the window but someone ended up bring it to our table. Water is set up at a separate table - grab a cup/refill anytime. Any other drinks- soda, juice, etc- you order at the bar. There really isn’t an explanation about any of this in the restaurant. The staff is very friendly though. They answered all my questions pleasantly :)
Overall, good experience. We will def go back. My son had a blast and it was nice to hangout and play games with him while also not having to cook dinner 🤣

What a gift to have The Cut right here in Gloucester!

We left last night’s show feeling incredibly lucky — and so grateful we didn’t have to drive home from Boston for a night of this caliber.

We were there for Lenny Clarke and a great lineup of comedians, and it was fantastic to see such a big, energetic crowd. The comedy was sharp, the bar service was excellent, and as always, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish.

We didn’t get a chance to arrive early and try the new menu this time, but we’re already planning to next visit.

Huge thanks to the management and ownership of The Cut — for staying the course, creating something so special, and continuing to invest in this community.

We’re proud to support you and excited to watch you grow!

Just an incredible room for a concert - the sound was balanced and warm, comfortable space and helpful staff. It’s not close by to where I live but I’ll likely return when I can to catch another fantastic show!

Great club scene. Always a fun crowd. Two bars. They just reopened in April. Go and support this local music venue
