Pretty cool place. They recently started opening up in the evenings for dinner. Fun place to eat if you have kids. They have arcade games, board games, and jenga to play. Some of the machines did eat up some of our quarters. Lost 1.50; but still fun! They had a boxing game, racing game, pinball machine, basketball game, and a golf game. Bring cash/quarters for the games!
The food is ok. Reminds me of food truck style. Fish tacos are small very fried. They were tasty but not my fav around town. My son had the smash burger and inhaled it! The fries were yummy!
The restaurant set up is nice and roomy. When you walk in, there aren’t really any instructions. If you’re visiting from out of town with no knowledge of this place- You don’t really know what you’re doing. I’m live in town and still had no clue what I was doing 🤣 Here’s a run down- You seat yourself, then scan a barcode at your table to order food. I think you’re supposed to pick it up at the window but someone ended up bring it to our table. Water is set up at a separate table - grab a cup/refill anytime. Any other drinks- soda, juice, etc- you order at the bar. There really isn’t an explanation about any of this in the restaurant. The staff is very friendly though. They answered all my questions pleasantly :)
Overall, good experience. We will def go back. My son had a blast and it was nice to hangout and play games with him while also not having to cook dinner 🤣
What a gift to have The Cut right here in Gloucester!
We left last night’s show feeling incredibly lucky — and so grateful we didn’t have to drive home from Boston for a night of this caliber.
We were there for Lenny Clarke and a great lineup of comedians, and it was fantastic to see such a big, energetic crowd. The comedy was sharp, the bar service was excellent, and as always, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish.
We didn’t get a chance to arrive early and try the new menu this time, but we’re already planning to next visit.
Huge thanks to the management and ownership of The Cut — for staying the course, creating something so special, and continuing to invest in this community.
We’re proud to support you and excited to watch you grow!
Best music venue in Gloucester!
Just an incredible room for a concert - the sound was balanced and warm, comfortable space and helpful staff. It’s not close by to where I live but I’ll likely return when I can to catch another fantastic show!
Great club scene. Always a fun crowd. Two bars. They just reopened in April. Go and support this local music venue
Lovely restaurant with a concert hall in the back. Cozy, intimate venue with a great view of the stage from anywhere.
Good food, nice bar, and pool tables too.
Amazing live music!

The dinner portion was too loud to hear our conversation. It's a cross between a sports bar and music venue with TV's and music. Not really welcoming for a date night. The food was good but value for $$ on the regular menu is off. I liked the street food & that's a nice touch - but needs to be better explained. The selection is esoteric. Honestly, it shouldn't be ala carte as it is acting like a fine dining establishment but it's not the right fit. One can easily find equally good food locally for a better value. There should also be a connection or incentive to eat there if you are going to a show. Early admission? Something specific to make to make it all work together. The servers and staff, however, were excellent.

Vegetarian options: Decent vegetarian options, but I'd love to see an innovative tofu dish on the menu

Had a beer at the bar before the Gang of Four show. Great atmosphere and was fun seeing the staff dressed for Halloween. Super venue space, definitely worth a visit and looking forward to coming back.

It was our first visit with the new menu. We each had an app, an entree, and dessert. Everything was 5 stars except for one dessert, which was still 4 stars. I had the Napa cabbage small plate and the steak au poivre. My husband had Frito pie and an exceptional hot dog. Delicious—and afterward, we enjoyed an excellent Gang of Four performance.
