The Rhumb Line is delightful, homey, and non-pretentious. My partner and friend went in for some g+ts in a post beach sun daze and enjoyed the cool dim bar, warm staff, and fun live acoustic set. This is a neighborhood gem. Long Live the Rhumb Line! Oh and the $10 were an absolute score. #twinning

I experienced a PHENOMENAL quartet Friday night at The Rhumb Line, The QCB aka HUH ( Thanks to Elder drummer) Got in a rippin' dance purge/release/balance check!! Awesome staff and crowd! Freakin' best night in a Long Time!El

My husband and I were visiting some family friends and wanted to check out a local bar to grab a drink. They recommended Rhumb Line. We walked in and a live band was paying. Looks like they have live music every day of the week. The place is super tiny but we managed to find 2 seats at the bar. I cannot speak to their food since we didn't eat there, but the steak that the guy next to us got looked pretty damn good. We ordered some beers and listened to the live band till they stopped playing around 9:10pm. They were wrapping up and it looked like the bartenders were getting stuff ready to close too. I know this is a small town and everything closes pretty early so we weren't shocked. I asked when they closed and I was told not to worry and if I wanted another drink I could have one. Lol, we needless to say we ended up there till after 11 drinking with the bartenders and staff. Really great people. Fun atmosphere for sure. Not sure if he is manager or the owner, but I believe his name was Carl, he was jamming some music on his phone through the speaker system and asking for suggestions. We were all jammin out. So much fun. If I come back to Gloucester, I am coming back to Rhumb Line for sure. Totally my type of place.
