Uncle Frank's is the BEST pizza in Gloucester!!! I also just had a steak & cheese sub there yesterday for lunch (american cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms *ordered it well done!) IT WAS AWESOME!!! I did a minor carpentry job for them recently & grabbed a slice while there...FABULOUS! 😋 Their STAFF is exceptional too, very nice people! Highly recommend!!!
This place is so good. I had been searching for authentic New York pizza to no avail, and then discovered Uncle Franks just down the road, and my 4 year search for New York pizza ended. We order at least once a week. Perfect texture crust, perfect sauce. I would give this 10/10. They also have an amazing Wednesday special. I can feed a family of 8 a generous dinner for 50 bucks. Very fast. You can’t beat it. Great family owned spot.

I ordered a signature pizza, the Pollo Pesto, and requested mushrooms and artichoke hearts. This large pie came in at just under $32. Uncle Franks claims that they offer New York style pizza, but the crust was quite doughy and not thin crust as expected. Per the menu, marinated tomatoes were on the list of ingredients but instead came with sliced tomatoes. The amount of toppings were sparse, only 2 or 3 pieces of anything per slice. The pesto didn’t have a lot of flavor but...
