My wife and I stopped in for an early Saturday dinner this Fall, no reservation, but we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the sunset. The portions were good and the flavors excellent. She got a creamy pasta with shrimp, and I got the fish and chips. It was an excellent fry-job.
Sort of related, I left my payment card, and the manager mailed it back to me promptly. Stand-up staff.

Had high hopes because I love a good Greek restaurant but was just ok. They have probably 20 wines by the bottle and only one of them (a rose) was Greek. So many incredible Greek wines, why not have more on the menu!? Mezze platter with 3 small spreads and fried pita was tasty - but seemed pretty overpriced at $26. Burger ordered medium was well done. Shakshouka had only one egg and was way over salted (and I like salt) and needed some more brightness. Just too heavy and salty. Fatoush w chicken also over salted but the grilled chicken was very good. Shirley Temples for the kids at $6.50 each seems pretty crazy. But that’s my fault for ordering the kids a Shirley Temple. Gotta stick with water. Oh well.

Shrimp tacos were great. Service was friendly. But there was a little sand in my clam chowder and the flavor was not so good.

Located on the Gloucester waterside, this was a wonderful place to enjoy a fun and casual dinner! The staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive, including Mike, Jasmine and Sam! We were a large party and they accommodated us perfectly! The Mezza platter was wonderful, as were all of our entrees - even our Vegan diner was immensely pleased!

Yella is a very nice restaurant conveniently located in Gloucester, MA. It has a nice variety of healthy options. We did not order alcohol, so I cannot comment on that. We ordered a salad and a chicken kebab, and shared both. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious, portions were generous. Our waitress Stef was attentive and friendly without be being overbearing. Our dining experience at Yella was great, and we would love to come back. Thank you!

Our waitress (Trinity?) was so great - knowledgeable about the menu, helpful, kind, and even offered us a blanket as the weather turned cooler. The view from the patio is great despite being across the road from the bay. The food was delicious!

Yellah made our day perfect! It isn’t every day that two 79 year olds who dated 63 years ago reconnect and get married! We needed a place to bring our families and friends together to celebrate and Yella came through with flying colors! From the first time we approach Carlo about having a private event on a Sunday in September, he was there for us, assuring us that we came to the right place. As the time got closer, I met with Sam, the General Manager, to go over the menu, number of guests, and seating. He could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and fun! All of the food was outstanding, from appetizers to flatbreads to salads to entrees to desserts. Some guests had seafood or fish, others had short rib ravioli. All of the guests raved about wonderful flavors and presentation of each course. The servers were friendly and excellent, and made certain that each guest had everything they wanted. We think everyone at Yellah went far beyond what we expected and made the occasion stellar! Whether you are looking for a nice dinner or a private event, please keep Yella in mind! You will not be disappointed.

Lovely Mediterranean inspired food. Several local caught seafood items that are fresh and tasty. Nice patio with view of the ocean.

Yummy food, clean, great service, friendly stuff and nice view to the beach
We came in today and Trinity was our server. She was fantastic! She was attentive and quick. The bartender was great, the food was amazing, and the owner even came over to check on us and brought us dessert. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!

This place is one of the happiest accidents we’ve had in a while ❤️
Lebanese and Cicillian owners and cuisine, *to die for*. It is an absolute explosion of flavor in your mouth, you MUST get the Mezza app.
I had the pan seared swordfish special, Mrs the fish tacos. Mine was EXCELLENT and we’ve had some fish tacos that were great, these were the best we’ve ever had.
Great location, excellent service, exceptional food - everything you want going out to eat!!

My wife and I were in Gloucester for 3 days. Had dinner here twice. (8/11 & 8/13/25)
The first night, I had the Fried Calamari and my wife had the Fish & Chips. Both were excellent!
The 2nd time, we both had the tacos. My wife had the Fisherman's Catch Tacos. I had the Crispy Shrimp Tacos.
Another excellent meal!
Everyone who works there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. And from the patio, there is a great view of the harbor.
Reason for 4 stars?
The mixed drinks left a little to be desired.
The first night, I ordered Carlo's Sangria. Even though it was drinkable, not exactly what I expected. Definitely wouldn't order it again.
The 2nd night, I had an Aperol Spritz. The prosecco was too dry.
Needed to be a little sweeter...
My wife had Chardonnay both nights. Good size pours - very tasty!
If we ever get back to Gloucester, this will be on our list.
