We have had two different times during the year made reservations at the Grafton Inn. Only to find out two weeks or more later that they were closed.

I pretty much never leave bad reviews, but please avoid. I would leave no stars if google allowed for that. A nightmare from beginning to end. Booked online but then no one answered the phone when we tried calling to say we'd be late. When we arrived there was no one at the desk...very spooky. Definite safety issues...rooms with flimsy doors. Had anyone wanted to harm or rob a guest they could have done so easily!!

We found another room in the next town, thank goodness, and called Travelocity the next day to explain the situation, but the inn refused to issue a refund.

In the end, I guess all we lost was some money and we should count ourselves lucky. Walking into that place at night felt like something out of a Stephen King novel!

Hotel in ruins, neglected, dirty...the third floor is still in service. Old, dilapidated, quite dirty. If you stay several nights they don't clean your room. There is no reception.
At Expedia they must have special treatment since the rating is an 8!!! Furthermore, it has been an impossible mission to write a coherent review. A/c works poorly and noisy. Carpet....bathroom curtain...I would never recommend it.

Great if you're looking for a bar.

Kid-friendliness: They have 3 items on the menu for kids and do have high chairs.

This place is gutted for renovations and has a stop work notice on the door.

Thoroughly disappointed with our recent visit. Renovated and downgraded to a bar…half the menu cut out. Our 10 dollar French onion soups were without the “baguette” that is supposed to come with it. Just a little bit of onion and a cheap amount of cheese with no flavor. Sadly another example of cutting back quality and increasing prices. Close to 90 bucks for a couple glasses of wine, soup, burger and chili dogs….outrageous. Will be taking our business elsewhere from now on, super sad.

The renovations/changes from a restaurant to a bar with arcade games, pool table and ONLY high top seating in the dinning room was unfortunate and a barricade to anyone who needs access to standard height seating. Tho there remain 3-4 standard height tables, we are told at 5:30 that tho folks at those tables were done eating (leftovers already packaged), they were "regulars" who would probably remain most of the evening. Our group of six and another couple had to go elsewhere as none of us can access stool height seating. There is also no longer seating to wait the hour+ we were told it would be: children, elderly, folks with disabilities all out of luck. The Reunion Tap/Tavern close-by was more than accommodating to the total of 9 diners where Hunter's could/would not. And the food there is exceptional.

I will start off by saying the wait staff is awesome! And the carrot cake made by one of the bartenders is some of the best I have ever had. But man am I disappointed by what hunters has become. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants in grafton. The last 2 times I have been have been incredibly disappointing. I will always give a restaurants 2 bad experiences in a row. Tonight I ordered a king cut prime rib. Came out ice cold , and extremely bland no crust seasoning, tasted like it was lightly seasoned for the retirees at the home early bird specialfor $30 I would hope for at least lukewarm for only being around 6pm. Sent it back got steak tips instead which were very undercooked and the mashed was extremely chunky, I like my steak rare so I sucked it up and ate it anyways because I wasn't sitting waiting for another round of not very good food to come out of the kitchen. Seems to be thet are moving away from the bar and grill and going straight to BAR. Dart boards pool tables games. Moved the low top tables to the bar area and only high tops down below. I am so very sad that hunters is on my never again list

Not as good as you'd think it would be and overly expensive. Service was fair at best.
