Sadly, Allium has announced that it is closing for good on December 31st. Only vague reasons were offered for the closing. Really excellent food that is on par with anything else in Berkshire county. It does not have the white table cloth look of its sister restaurant, Mezze in Williamstown. This is more rustic in appearance. But that does not take way from the deliciousness. My wife and I started with squash tatare. It is indeed raw squash. We were so pleased with our dinner at Alium. Our waiter was incredibly nice and very helpful. One person in our party has celiac disease and he made sure that her dinner had no gluten. Service was great. Food was excellent. I would definitely go again.
