“Stopped by with family the day after Christmas to bowl with family. The bowling alley was very busy and Adam greeted us kindly and promptly gave us our lane. After stopping by the bar I quickly realized Adam was one of two employees working at the time. He was incredible, he was kind to everyone that walked in. He was able to handle not only assigning lanes, working the bar, and fixing lanes and balls that are stuck. He handled it with a smile on his face and did not seem stressed at all! Overall the bowling alley was clean, lanes work up to my expectations, and the customer service is phenomenal!”

The portion was a little small so if you’re really hungry you’ll have room for dessert. I think my husband had Three Amigos - or something like that. It was good.”

“LOVED the food that I ordered for lunch and the chai latte that I had. The service was good and the decor was on point. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but know that it's a smaller storefront, so good for small groups, couples, and solo trips - when a line forms it gets crowded. Definitely recommend.”

The appetizer (Roman artichoke) was delicious, our main courses (Yellowfin tuna bento & the halibut special) were to die for, my cocktail was tasty & our desserts (Lemon ginger panna cotta & banana Napoleon) were unbelievable! If you ever find yourself out this way, try this place! You WON’T be disappointed!”

“A surprising little spot with spectacular Thai food. I came with a group of 4, and not many places downtown Great Barrington are open for lunch. I am so glad Siam Square was because it was excellent. The pad Thai was among the best pad thais I’ve ever had, and I also enjoyed the massaman curry. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.”

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it’s always a consistent, safe, and homie environment. The food is excellent, and they are always accommodating with my allergies. It’s rare to find a place that I can trust, but this spot has always made me feel welcome and safe. Highly recommend!”

“Always treated well. New around here, always greeted, staff and owner friendly and attentive. No matter the crowd get served quickly with a smile. We don't drink fancy drinks but the cocktails we get are served correctly. The only place around we'd call a comfortable, regular neighborhood place.”

“This place has single handedly redefined for me what a great Chinese restaurant is. To say that I was pleased is an understatement.

To start out with, upon sitting down in a dining room that looks absolutely vintage, we were presented with a large pot of tea and those fried cracker things you dip in duck sauce. This courtesy is something that's been missing for the last 20+ years. Most of the time, you'll need to order the tea; it costs extra and is typicly just a teabag in a cup. Here it is a full pot, nice and hot.

Another amazing thing is that they actually waited for us to finish our appetizers before bringing out the entrée. When you go to a lot of places, they sort of rush you by bringing out everything in short order. But not here. Here it was like a civilized meal where you felt like you could eat at your own pace, and not have to worry about cutting the conversation short just to scarf your food so the table doesn't become too crowded.

The food itself was amazing. While the General Tzo's was not too spicy, it was extraordinarily flavorful, as was everything else they served. Every dish I tried was great. The fried food wasn't too fried, and the portions were fantastic.

The seating was very comfortable.

The service was exemplary. They were on top of everything, from refilling the waters to the effortless way they served everything and cleared the extra plates with great haste.

The only thing I didn't care for was the fortune cookie at the end. Not only was it a little stale, but the fortune was lousy. Though I'm not going to blame them for that.

Vegetarian options: There were a lot of vegetarian dishes available, and everything tasted great. A lot of the dishes that had meat in them could be ordered with no meat.

Dietary restrictions: It's advisable to mention any restrictions you have with the waitstaff before placing your order.

Parking: Lots of free parking surrounding the building.

Kid-friendliness: As long as they behave themselves, you won't get any dirty looks. And what kid doesn't like Chineese?

Havent tried the pizza place nectdoor but the wood fired oven makes pizza that looks delicious. I am a beer drinker but the cocktails look great! No, its not cheap but qhat is these days?”

“Imagine my delight when I found this gem during a visit to Great Barrington while touring the area. We had our senior dog with us and my husband and I needed a table outdoors to eat in the shade. Almost out of options, then we walked down a side street off Main Street and found STEAM Noodle Cafe among the few open restaurants on a Monday at the shared patio area. I LOVED the Northern Thai Curry Chicken bowl, accurately described as “flavorful but not spicy”. All I can say is YUMMY. I don’t “do” spicy and am often disappointed when i trust a restaurant to accurately describe a dish as not-spicy. This dish was gorgeous, colorful and I almost licked the bowl clean. While stepping back inside to praise the restaurant, another customer heard my rave review and also ordered that dish. Wish I lived closer, I’d be there often.”
