Ordered the Blue fish entree. Great except center was uncooked. Asked for rolls or bread but was directed to order the special $8 bread which was good. Accompaniments are extra. There is also a $2 kitchen service charge unannounced on bill. Really the kitchen apparently aren't getting paid to make a $45 ribeye. Out of 15 restaurants I have been involved with and hundreds I've eaten at.A rude first
Gorgeous ambiance. Warmly-lit, moody, wood paneled farm to table restaurant. Food is generally good - there are some stand outs, such as the cornbread, while other items are just okay (we found the burger and salmon underwhelming). We came peak season and the restaurant was clearly overwhelmed. Service was slow and the bar was backed up - we didn't receive our drinks until after our appetizers. However I'd still recommend this spot for the atmosphere and a decent meal.
Absolute best birthday dinner and experience of my life. The ambiance, staff and FOOD was exceptional. Favorite part of our visit to the Berkshires :)
