Welcome to Rubi’s Coffee & Sandwiches! An absolutely darling little cafe, neatly tucked away in the heart of Great Barrington. If you like an intensely pretentious atmosphere and the best coffee and egg sandwich you’ve ever had, I can guarantee this is the place for you! Excellent coffee, we stopped here twice. Being from Brooklyn, home of posers, makes reading the reviews amusing. Is it an accomplishment to be a poser/hipster in Great Barrington? I mean, that's both laughable and sad. Rubi's is the kind of place that should actually inspire pride amongst its employees. I thought our service to be fine. This coffee shop is absolutely charming: I loved the ambiance and the fireplace. The sandwiches are delicious. However, the service is somewhat slow: I ordered a prosciutto sandwich and it took 1 hour (note that it's a cold sandwich with butter and prosciutto, so prep time is probably 1 min). Just come in with a good book!
