“Such a cool little coffee spot, my husband and I travel a lot and always look for this little local gems, the espresso was on point, we bought a few bags, a mug and some snacks. We went every am we were at the inn. Drinks were hot, flavorful, service was amazing”
“Excellent farm to table food - with a limited but well crafted menu. Service was great and very friendly. We liked pretty much everything we ate and enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients as well as the way it was all put together- definitely a place to go back to.Also - their menu changes quite a bit so that does make it even more interestingParking: Park on Main Street where it’s not so difficult to find space”
“Excellent breakfast spot with a refreshing local feel right in the heart of Stockbridge! Irish Benedict rocked, and the counter service was excellent. Will surely be back again and again!”
“Went to Michael's on Sunday for lunch at the bar. We were welcomed so nicely by a great bartender, Kelly. She tended to us immediately and we told her it was our anniversary. She made sure we had great drinks and food! We had a Margarita, bloody mary, and tried a chocolate martini. We had the hugest pretzel that we loved and a Delicious Reuben sandwich and a burger with some wicked good fries. She announced our anniversary to everyone which made the day just a great time for us! We will be back to see her and thank her for being so kind and wonderful to us!”
“As a vegetarian I was more than impressed by the plant based options both appetizers and main. All the food had deep complex flavors which were delicious. The hummus plate and roasted parsnips appetizers were incredible. I had the lentil tofu main and really enjoyed it, full of different textures and very satisfying. It's hard to find a restraunt that truly embraces plant based while also keeping meat eaters happy. My partner had the beef tenderloin and was equally impressed. Restraunt had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It is small so if you prefer a table over the bar a reservation would be recommended. Bar service for us was a pleasant experience with very attentive service.”
“We stopped on the way to the sculpture park nearby, got a few things to go, and their focaccia was among the best we've had in a really long time.(We are from Italy ourselves and the flavor and texture definitely reminded us of home.)”
“What a treat! They have an incredible vegan menu and everything we got was incredible! The scratch made marinara was delicious. The grilled artichokes were perfect and the vegan tiramisu was to die for. We will definitely be back! Service was top notch and the atmosphere was great!”
“Stopped in after a meal at a local restaurant for a scoop. I tried the ginger ice cream and my son got the maple walnut. We both agreed that the ice cream is excellent. There was only one poor girl working the counter and line kept getting longer (too many people ordering milkshakes!). Our wait was around 8 minutes to be served so it wasn't too crazy. The ginger ice cream was truly delicious.”
“Cloudy day cold and the views are still stunning. Worth a stopover. One scoop waffle cone - excellent. $6. Store is small so expect a line. Cheeses and meats to your right as you enter. Step out to a nice patio and covered porch.”
“Stopped off of the thruway because I wanted something different than rest stop food. This restaurant was awesome! Cute setting, friendly staff, quick service, and most importantly excellent food! Will definitely return when I travel out this way.”
“Superior food. Our server, Jessica, was friendly, efficient, and knew the menu inside and out. Exceptional! She knew ingredients and preparation of each menu item which made our final choices easy. We had escargot (marvelous) Cesar salad and delicious steak. Will visit again.”
“Great food and service! We arrived for $10 pizza night which was a fantastic value. The wood fired pizza was very tasty. We ordered the southwestern chicken, mushroom and the Allium. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although they had no room for us, they set up a table for us outside since it was a nice night. It was the first night they had outdoor seating of the season. It was also our son's first restaurant experience!”
“Had the greatest time ever! Nick is the best bartender/sommelier. Donna was also super friendly and accommodating for my friends and I. And obviously the wine is amazing ❤️”
“We were visiting from Pa and decided to stop by . We called ahead of time and spoke to Sara. She was so pleasant and bubbly from the start . When we got there Sara did our tasting. She was so friendly and you can tell she enjoys what she does . We had a wonderful time . Sara really made the trip to the winery worth it . Sara and her husband have a great establishment. We will definitely be back and order online when we run out ! Lol”
“Run, don’t walk to Cello! Truly a gem in the dining scene of The Berkshires! Small, intimate and cozy with food that is so fresh and innovative! Amanda, Cody and the two incredible chefs have worked together as a team for quite some time and it shows through the energy, vibe and level of service at the restaurant. The menu changes nightly and it truly highlights the talents of the two chefs! To better sample the menu I had 3 starters as my meal, the kale caesar, the big eye tuna tartar and the clam croquettes. A perfect trifecta! Thank you guys for such a special evening!!”
“Among the finest restaurants in the northern - if not the country. Super-fresh ingredients transformed into mouthwatering delights. A warm welcome is always guaranteed, too! It’s not cheap but by the standards of today’s 5-star spots, highly reasonable. A must to visit if you’re in the Berkshires.Vegetarian options: They always have o e or two exquisite vegetarian options.Parking: Parking is right next to the restaurant. Being able to use the spaces in the lot owned by the bank next door means there is ample parking.”
“What a wonderful surprise! We were cruising through town and decided to stop and were treated to huge portions, delicious food, and a great conversation with the super friendly owner. So glad we chose to stop!”
“AMAZING! I love a tapas restaurant, try a bunch to share is wonderful, and good wine helps! Don't call me crazy but GET THE SWISS CHARD! The boom boom shrimp was so good! The sauce on the patatas bravas is good but spicy beware. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The special pizza had pork, onions, pineapple I forget the cheese but this is also a MUST, I know pineapple on pizza is a NO NO but this was AMAZING! For dessert we had bread pudding and passion fruit gelato also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant!”
“Oh boy do I love this place. It's on my hit list for every trip to GB. It's an embarrassment of riches every time I visit. Everything I've tried as been phenomenal. Folks working there are super sweet as well!”
“Brunch at Roses was a rare treat. Sunday brunch time was bustling; service was prompt, friendly and consistent. We all were extremely satisfied with omelets, which included choices of many items such as vegetarian sausage, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, home fries, cheese, and more. The bread was excellent and so was the coffee. I was the only one at our table that finished my plate as portions were huge. After 2 years of living nearby, this has been my favorite brunch. It is my new go to spot.”
“I had lunch yesterday at Zinc, and it was delightful. The staff is very welcoming, which often is missing in today's world. The Pinot Grigio was super crisp, the best I've had in some time. I had a grilled gruyere sandwich with duck confit and caramelized onions. It was absolutely delicious--I'm heating up the second half for my lunch today because it was amply sized for two meals. They usually serve it with mixed greens, but I asked for bib lettuce instead, and they served me very fresh bib with a light, tasty dressing. I truly enjoyed every bite and sip of this meal. My companion had a burger, which he said was the best he's had in years--thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere at Zinc is classy but not overly so, with lots of light and a choice of dining rooms. We drove an hour to get here, and it was worth every mile. Try it!!”
“Great venue for live music. Good, reasonably priced food. Great atmosphere. Be sure to arrive early for best seats, or any seats at all if it is a popular artist (a ticket did not guarantee a seat!)”
“This place is amazing, the drinks are so good and the crepes are even better. They have such huge variety and so many different options to do. Not to mention everything came out so fast and the service was so nice. There was a huge line and it was worth the wait. If you haven't been you should really go it's more than worth it. The atmosphere was awesome too, nice calming music and singing it was relaxing.”
“Really, really good restaurant. All of our dishes (the bread, two different salads, the chicken, a pasta, and two desserts) were spot on. High end without being precious or pretentious. Wine list is excellent, including some excellent wines at (relatively) reasonable prices. Service is friendly and professional and the setting is very nice. Our best meal in the area. I'm happy they could take a walk-in on a Saturday. I wouldn't bet on it if it's other than 5pm.”
“The Berkshire Mountain bakery is always a must go for me whenever I am in the Berkshires... My friends in California always remark how good it is when I bring them back a loaf... Highly recommend!”
“chocolate are very fresh and delicious. i am not a fan of sweets but their chocolate still surprises me. def recommend go for the tons of choices of one bite chocolate. hot chocolate is also a good choice too. smooth and strong hot chocolate. few indoor seats.”
“I absolutely love this unique find. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The service was Swift and the food was excellent. A quaint little spot it was comfortable, and I quite enjoyed the music. Overall a great experience we didn't have any libation just the food and some water and everything was great. I highly recommend them as a restaurant. I'm not sure about the bar part, but going on what my experience was, I would imagine that's pretty good, too.”
“this place is always a delight. quality food with a feeling of community. my favorite dishes usually include their creamy polenta, eggs, and arugula in some variation.”
“Food fresh and excellent. I had breakfast, hash and eggs. Homemade hash was very good, always an indicator for a breakfast spot. Nice location on Main Street in Great Barrington. Very walkable town.”
