We shared GRILLED KLEIN’S KILL FARM PEAR TOAST, BLUE CHEESE, BMB SOURDOUGH, PICKLED PEAR, BACON LARDON, a terrific combination of flavors. And CAULIFLOWER TEMPURA, MAPLE, GOCHUJANG AIOLI another winner. For our mains, she had BRAISED BEEF MELT, GRUYERE, CARAMELIZED ONIONS, BEEF JUS, BMB SOURDOUGH, GREENS and I had the PAN FRIED RAINBOW TROUT, PUMPKIN AND APPLE HASH, DILL SOUR CREAM, it was simply delicious! “Dulu Café is HANDS-DOWN one of the most charming spots I’ve ever stumbled upon. Tucked inside the luxurious yet whimsical Doctor Sax House in Lenox, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world—one where everything slows down and all your senses come alive.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere wrapped around me like a warm hug. The soft lighting, cozy seating, and quiet buzz of conversations made it feel intimate without being stuffy. It’s the kind of place where you could bring a date or just spend hours lost in your thoughts over a good book and a perfect glass of wine.

The food is nothing short of exceptional. They have this way of making every dish feel special, like it was made just for you. I had the seasonal risotto with steak, and I swear every bite sank me deeper and deeper into completely euphoria. The cocktails are just as memorable—beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor without being too fussy. The "Sax & The City" reminded me of home in NYC but so much I was ready to hurry back. I don't think I ever wanted to leave.

“Growing up with a Yia Yia who makes pastitsio, I tend to be very picky when other people serve this dish. Electras is the only place that makes it as close to my Yia Yias that I’ve ever had. I travel to western mass for work from Rhode Island and everytime I’m in the area, I always stop and order pastitsio from here!”

The service is excellent from the moment you walk in, the menu has a lot of options that all sound so good, and peak lunch time on Valentine’s Day our food came out quickly but we did not at all feel rushed. My pecan crusted Caesar salad was amazing and Mike’s salmon BLT was excellent he said. What a great discovery! Decent prices too. AND next door to Chocolate Springs!! We didn’t even move the car to go there after lunch. Fantastic!”

“First off, $0.66 a wing?! Amazing. In a world of $2 wings, this place is a gem. I ordered an anchovy pizza, they were low on anchovies so went out and bought more just for me. Big fan!”

“Found this from online reviews and decided to try and was very happy we did. From the service to the food, you got the feeling that they really cared and delivered beyond. The servers and host were so genuinely friendly, interested, and timing was perfect, I was very impressed. And then each course was a true pleasure, delicious, surprising, and interesting flavor combinations, cooked to perfection. It was our 15th anniversary which I had written in our opentable reservation and they made sure to make it special for us above and beyond. From a fancy meal in the Berkshires at a very cool resort-like setting, I'd recommend trying it.”

“I decided to stop in here on my way home from Bash Bish. I live over 2 hours from away. Everything was soo good that I would honestly drive back just to go there(though I saw they do sell some of their products online with shipping offered). I tried a variety of chocolates/truffles, chocolate cake, and a latte. Everything was exceptional not only in the way it tastes, but also in appearance. Each bite I took was almost a transcendent experience. It sounds dramatic, but everything was life changingly good. I’m now obsessed with this place and am going to tell everyone to go. Also I wasn’t sure what to expect with the coffee/lattes as it’s a chocolate shop, not a specialty coffee shop. It was so good. It was like I went to a fancy coffee shop. These people know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend the maple latte. The chocolates came in a box and were nicely wrapped up and included a little booklet with pictures and descriptions so you know what’s what. I tried passionfruit, caramels, coconut rum, orange, espresso chocolates etc. Every single one was exceptional. I also decided to try the flourless chocolate cake and oh man was that good. Super rich and moist. I can’t wait to get more to try! Definitely see some chocolate covered oreos in my future. I will definitely be back! I also need to try their hot chocolate for sure. I cannot recommend this place enough. I just found out they do birthday cakes as well. I’m tempted to drive all the way there to get one for myself. That’s how much I love this place. “Haven has been our go-to spot for brunch and lunch for over five years, and it has never disappointed. From the moment you walk in, they have delicious seasonal specials and a wide assortment of delectable baked goods from lemon cake slices, special turtle bars, chocolate squares, carrot cake, to ginger molasses cookies, among many others. This place has become a true favorite for good reason—the food is always fresh, with an emphasis on local ingredients that shine in every dish.

The menu is a beautiful balance of comfort and creativity, with seasonal offerings that highlight the best of what’s available. Whether you're enjoying their signature smoked salmon eggs benedict, a grilled pesto mozzarella chicken sandwich, a hearty soup, or a fresh salad, the quality of the ingredients is always top-notch. The savory baked goods are also such a treat, including their ham and gruyere biscuits. Pair them with one of their aromatic lattes (our favorite is the earl grey vanilla or jasmine maple latte) or creative seasonal drinks, and you’ve got yourself a perfect meal.

What really sets Haven apart, though, is the friendly atmosphere. The staff has always been warm and welcoming. It's clear that many regulars feel the same way, as it’s often very busy from the moment they open until they close. It’s a place that’s equally perfect for catching up with friends and family or enjoying a peaceful solo meal.

Haven even offers holiday meals, including Thanksgiving and Christmas specials. This Thanksgiving, we were far away from other family members and due to a busy work schedule, we tried their Thanksgiving dinner and it was great!

Despite being a local favorite and always busy, the service is consistently excellent, and I never feel rushed or overlooked. It’s no surprise this place has remained a beloved staple for so many years. If you're looking for a spot that combines amazing food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, Haven is a must-visit!”
