“I live about 20 minutes away and have been meaning to go here for months. I stopped and got takeout. It was ready quickly, and the meat was cooked to perfection…and my beef pastels were absolutely delicious. The young woman who served me was lovely. I will be back soon to eat in person.”

“Stopped in on our way home in search of a good steak. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the steak we saw online was a Valentine's day special and no longer available the following night. So we opted for a cheese & charcuterie appetizer, steak frites, and pork tenderloin for our mains. The cheese selection was very nice accompanied by out-of-this-world garlic jam. There was a $5 additional charge to add the charcuterie - a helping of speck. We would have appreciated even a $10 add-on with more salumi variations. The frites & tenderloin while very good, were not exciting in flavor profile. The Burnt Old Fashioned was excellent as was an interesting red varietal (never had it and the name escapes me). Portions were great as well as the staff & surroundings.”

“Upon a recommendation from our resort we were staying in Pittsfield MA, we celebrated my wife's birthday today My wife chose the Grilled Lamb Chops and I chose the Shanghai Duck. Amazing dishes and for appetizer we had the Wagyu Beef fried dumplings. The dining room Setting is unique and classy. Our wait server and manager Mr. Winn who deliver exceptional 5 star service. Because of that we will return tomorrow for the 3-6 Sushi and appetizer 1/2 price deals. Great job”

“The pizza was VERY good. The price was a bit higher than o expected, but worth it after tasting it. We got take out, so I can only comment on the phone ordering and pick up...both were effective and efficiently executed. The restaurant itself, which I could only see from outside, was very small, just a few tables, and included a deli-like counter which gives it a very casual counter service feel. The decor looks like an Italian deli. The pizza is huge. We are a family of 4 adults, and the owner recommended two pizzas, but it way too much food. One would have been enough for four adults. The pizza was very a medium thickness, a good amount of sauce, perfect of amount of cheese, and cooked crispy.”

“Excellent experience for my son's birthday. We did the hibachi and the cook was soooo funny and it was a great time. The food was very good and the service was great. 10/10 recommend!!Kid-friendliness: The waitress brought a highchair over to our table as soon as we arrived and it was very accommodating.”

“We love Yamato! Best teppanyaki around. Sushi is also really good. Scorpion bowl for two is my go-to drink The filet rare is always perfectly rare (I'm always stunned at how few steak places can cook a steak to order - I'm thinking of you Sofia's). The show never disappoints. Kids love it and lots they can eat. This is our go-to birthday spot.”
