“This place is a gem! La Fugata’s menu has an extensive array of delicious dishes that will satisfy any type of palate. We were a party of eight celebrating a birthday and made a last minute reservation after reading all the positive comments about this place. We couldn’t have been happier about the food, the service and the atmosphere. We will definitely be back to eat at La Fugata again!

“Came here after checking in with our hotel quite late in the day. the place was clean and the atmosphere was great even though it was a monday night and there were many customers. service was amazing by the bartender Joshua. he was quite understanding after my lil trip up since Ive been drinking out in canada but Im not yet legal in the states, will be back when I am tho! the drinks he served were wonderful and the mocktail I got was delicious. The food from the kitchen was also amazing and we had the mushroom turnovers, bbq chicken & onion pizza, chicken reuben, and I had the korean kalbi. overall the night was good.”

“My wife and I drove two hours from Cooperstown and had the best dinner in memory, starting with plump delicious oysters and two main courses, scallops piccata and the dinner special of lobster and scallops pasta. Our waiter was Milton and he couldn't have been better. Dessert was pineapple flambe, ice cream and chocolate sauce served in a pineapple shell, accompanied by excellent coffee. And on Wednesday nighst, live music is provided by singer/guitarist Melissa Brinton at just the right sound level, with violin and penny whistle added by Eileen Markland. We'll definitely come again!”

“Kayla officially gets 10 stars for being the most caring and detail-oriented server. She is sweet and informative and we had a massive complicated order which involved food for here, food to go, a salad order with no onions, etc etc giant craziness. She read back our order to make sure she had everything correct. On our order of 15 wings, kitchen only made us 10 and Kayla intercepted, brought us our 10 wings so they wouldn’t dry out and had the kitchen make the last 5 separately. Then the salad was made WITH onions but Kayla intercepted that, checked with me that it wasn’t an allergy and gave me the option of a full new meal being made or just removing the onions (I appreciated her checked, just taking the onions off was fine but so thorough that she checked). She labeled everything perfectly and, while Patrick’s is my long time favorite (food is 5 stars), they don’t do take out orders super well, we usually receive a bunch of wrong orders. Thanks to Kayla everything was perfect and everyone enjoyed their dinners as ordered. Spectacular server and just a delight to talk to.”

“Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! The beef shawarma and kebabs were seasoned perfectly and went well with the Turkish tea they offered us. The atmosphere is casual and clean and I was personally very excited with the small details that set it apart from my average American dining experiences. Never before had I seen oregano buds or specialty bottled vinegars made with a variety of infusements for health benefits. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this spot on a random day-long road trip but I would love to return!”

“Food is good along with the choices. Unfortunately some of the staff need re training. Tonight the cashier was writing on different tickets while we were trying to order. Last time as we were standing there for almost 10 minutes while we were ignored. But when the phone rang that was picked up right away and that order was placed.”

“The yogurt is very tasty. It does depend on what flavors of the week there are because they dont really have as much concentration to the flavor of the yogurt normal soft serve has. The topping selection is very extensive and delightful. There is also diet friendly options as well”

“I highly recommend Ben & Jerry's catering service. We booked them for a graduation party this weekend and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I communicated with Kate, and she was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions and super, super responsive. The owner manned the sundae bar and he was funny, courteous and a pleasure to interact with. If you have ever considered having Ben & Jerry's cater your event, don't hesitate! It was incredible from start to finish!”

“I have to laugh at "atmosphere. " it is fundamentally a takeout pizza place. In that regard, the atmosphere is perfect. We love the pizza. They default to a party cut. If you want a pie cut, just ask. Nice people.”

“Cims is like my Cheers. Yes, when I go there a lot of people do know my name. But I can go by myself and strike up a conversation with anyone from anywhere and have fun. It is really nice to get to know people from the area, as well as out of town who have never experienced the Berkshires. I highly recommend all of their food, but some of my favorites are the Brandy wings bone in or boneless, I think they call them Cims Wings. The lobster roll is delicious as are the fried scallops and the Fried chicken basket. It is usually on the special board. It is a very sweet better and totally delicious. I have never in 15 years been disappointed with any food I get from there. They also have a great beverage selection as well as many TVs to watch a variety of sporting events including the weather channel”

“When we entered, there was about a 10 minute wait. We were seated as soon as possible. The owner was very visible throughout the restaurant and made sure that everybody knew that it wouldn’t be long. He was very involved in making sure everyone was taken care of. When we were seated, Jenny was our server and she got our drink order and returned promptly with them. Jimmy had a captain and coke and he said it was good. I stick with my usual— Diet Coke on the rocks— lol — Jenny brought our bread out and took our order. We got the scallops as an appetizer and we each ordered the same thing, it was the Highland Trio which consisted of a generous piece of chicken Parm, with an amazing/perfect amount of sauce, a humongous sausage link and an equally huge meatball — which anyone could tell was homemade (even my mom would have raved about it and she was picky). It came with a very generous portion of pasta and sauce as well as a salad. Everything was delicious. I ended up having leftovers (Not sure how anyone could possibly finish all of the food we got) but Jenny helped me pack up. We are not big dessert and coffee people but the desserts did look delicious in the dessert case. Perfect timing on everything. The Highland is truly a hidden gem in the city of Pittsfield and I would highly recommend it to anyone that lives here or is visiting. You will not be disappointed.”

“This place has excellent food and service. We stopped on a long trip for a quick dinner and some coffee. Everything we ate was simple and fresh. The food came quickly and was piping hot. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Also, don't skip dessert! We had a lemon bar that was delicious and tasted fresh made. Our food came our fast so we could get back on the road. “GINOS PIZZA IS BERKSHIRES BEST PIZZA!!! WAY BETTER THAN VIVALDIS. I order from both and I can say without a doubt GINOS IS SUPERIOR TO VIVALDIS!! Their CHEESE is FANTASTIC!!! Dough and cheese is always how I measure a pizza. I bought a plain cheese from both to compare and GINOS won HANDS DOWN!!

“I was staying the night in Pittsfield in my van on North St. and was hungry when I found Liberty Pizza open. The staff was friendly, and it was nice to find a place open near me at that time. However, I’m not a big fan of the pizza. I usually like a good thin crust, but this was a bit too much for me and felt the crust was more like a cracker. Otherwise, it was a good experience overall.”

“My boyfriend and I visited the Hot Dog Ranch last night. He had to go back after having the Special, Porterhouse steak last week. He thought the steak was amazing! They were not serving the Porterhouse last night so he ordered the Delmonico Steak. He really enjoyed that one as well!! He was a very happy man. Still talking about it this morning :) I had the Stone Bridge Chicken. I substituted provolone cheese for feta. It was excellent.”
