“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My wife and I LOVE to go to Olde Forge! The staff is amazing, we always sit at the bar because we are part of their beer club (super fun concept, ask about it!). We have never had a bad experience. The food is absolutely amazing and is made to order, always very fresh! They have special events around holidays and random days all the time! Their beer menu is constantly changing to keep the variety! The beer menu is HUGE! 20/10 recommend!”

“stopped here with our family of four while staying locally for the week. we loved how they were knowledgeable with the menu in regards to gluten. all sauces and meats are GF. wings and fries do not contain gluten but they ARE in the fryer with other gluten items. the food took slightly longer but it was absolutely amazing. worth the wait for fresh, home cooking. it was the early part of a Saturday night and by the time we left, the line was very long. worth the wait for everyone, i'm sure! between all four of us, we had a little bit of everything.... 1/2 chicken, pulled pork, St Louis ribs, chicken tenders. wings (some mild buffalo and some with honey maple. the honey maple was unique and amazing), sides: fresh cut fries, corn bread, potato salad, coleslaw, peach baked beans. everything was delicious. we were starving (hence the amount of food we ordered!) we came in from a day of hiking and this was perfect. the people are super nice. met Old Man Jeff's wife. she was nice and was not bothered by all the questions we had. thanks for a great meal and for.being a wonderful family owned restaurant!”

“I always think it is important to leave a review when people step up after a mishap. I had ordered takeout about a month ago and received the wrong order. Because of my food allergies I couldn't just eat what I was given and I couldn't bring it back because I was at work. So I had to throw what I had paid for away. When I called they said next time you order we will take good care of you. That day was today. They gave me my order for free, the food was absolutely amazing...they were caring and apologetic and they really came through on the make good! I appreciate the staff and everyone. Thank you for being such an upstanding place!”

I communicated with Kate, and she was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions and super, super responsive. The owner manned the sundae bar and he was funny, courteous and a pleasure to interact with. If you have ever considered having Ben & Jerry's cater your event, don't hesitate! “Okay, I have lived in the W-town area my whole life and seen all the different ways this store has been run.For the first time in my almost 40 years, there is finally someone running it who knows what they are doing. There has never been "regular people" food or offerings here. It's always super uppity food that isn't good and no one in town wants to eat. The store quickly folds because no one goes.Everyday I drive by lately the place is packed. So I decided to drop in with my toddler for some lunch/breakfast. What a change! Good food that anyone would like to eat! Prices that are reasonable mixed with quality ingredients you won't find at the local diners. Gluten free bread that isn't horrible and is actually pretty good!A mix of locals, college kids and some blue collar workers, everyone was happy. I applaud the new owner and we will be back! Keep up the good work!Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and the bread was good, they seem to have a wide range of options for folks.”

“BEST donuts I've had in the Northeast so far. I've been looking for any donut shop that's not a Dunkin Donuts and it's been difficult to find. I'm from Canada and Tim Hortons is my baseline for a decent donut. Shire donuts are the same texture, extremely fresh and made to order. Absolutely delicious and can't wait to try more flavours!”

The place is tiny so it’s only take out. When they realized we were traveling, they gave us directions to a park with picnic tables. That was a great atmosphere for great BBQ. You should go and enjoy.”
