They have elk chops; that could simply be the end of my review because they're great. But the bar is cozy and welcoming. The service was attentive, prompt and unobtrusive. While I had the elk -- and would go back again just for that -- I need to return to try the linguine Bolognese. They also had a fantastic seasonal fest beer on tap.
Got the New York strip dinner and it wasn't a mistake at all. Best steak I have had in years and price was well in range for the impressive portion of meat on my plate. It also came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.We sat at the bar to eat which is normal here when they get busy.
