I was looking forward to trying Firefly's and expected something special, but was disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. It was a Thursday evening, so not very busy. Only one server for 5 tables, not terrible, but not great. We ordered the Brussel sprouts as a appetizer. They were very good. The rest of the food was just fair. I ordered the Fri Diablo. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar. My companion ordered the salmon, which was fishy.Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The atmosphere was electric! The live jazz music transported every single guest to another era.The dining room was filled with happy diners, couples dancing, and smiling staff. The food was fantastic. The winter salad and a fish trio were lovely, the perfect texture and temperature. The Firefly offered a magical dining experience. Date night was a great night!

They have elk chops; that could simply be the end of my review because they're great. But the bar is cozy and welcoming. The service was attentive, prompt and unobtrusive. While I had the elk -- and would go back again just for that -- I need to return to try the linguine Bolognese. They also had a fantastic seasonal fest beer on tap.

Got the New York strip dinner and it wasn't a mistake at all. Best steak I have had in years and price was well in range for the impressive portion of meat on my plate. It also came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. We sat at the bar to eat which is normal here when they get busy. However we got there only shortly after an hour after opening and the place was packed.I had called in advance and hoped to get a reservation because it was a special occasion, but they only reserve parties 5 and larger a message on the phone said. That was disappointing and I wish it was different, but can't beat the food quality and massive drink selection at the bar.My suggestion is if you want a booth or table try to get there when they open.Sorry my steak was so good I forgot to take review pictures this time ?Parking: Parking in the rear, and also a nice overflow lot directly across the street from the building. Parking on street and in rear is always packed, the overflow lot was easy to find a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spot in rear and come in the back entrance.

My girlfriend and i put in our name, wait at bar, 45 mins later two other parties sat check on the waitlist, host says the waitress who took my name didn't tell the host, host sits us immediately, no one came and check on us for 45 mins, just as we go to leave a waitress askes if we've been helped, explain situation, she tells us the host never said which waitress had us. Food was mediocre at best, no idea why anyone raves about it, was offered a free dessert but the selection was nothing special so we didn't take them up on it.Yes i'm aware i could have left, but, the places we wanted to go were booked, we tried as soon as we got to our hotel room, so we were rather stuck with no where else to go.

Firefly has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. I enjoy sitting at the bar, dining, when chairs are available at this very active and comfortable bar. The bartenders are very creative and there are a number of well prepared tailored cocktails available. The manager, servers, bartenders and other staff members are very attentive and pleasant. This place serves a killer burger! Ahi Tuna Tartar is fresh and really a great appetizer. Duck Breast is a favorite selection. While I am not a fan of game dishes, I understand, from a fellow diner, that the Elk Chops are delicious. Steak was prepared at the perfect temperature and very tasty and tender. I always recommend checking out specials. You can order regular menu items anytime but specials are just that-Special ! Well worth a visit.

Tasty fresh food. Small portions. A bit pricey for what you get.

Everything tasted great, the service was good, the atmosphere was inviting. My only issue with it was they advertise as a farm-to-table type place, which- these days- implies the absence of MSG and other harmful flavor-adders and processed foods. The grilled veggies that night, which was served with the duck, had MSG added. I wouldn't have cared as much if I wasn't highly allergic.

After taking part in a haunted Lenox fall activity, we were trying to find something that was open a bit later in the Lenox area and found the Firefly Gastropub. There were a couple of tweens in our party, as well, who had food ideas of their own. Everyone found a few items on the menu- some split appetizers/meals, but the food was wonderful! Our server even had the bartender create a couple of mock tails for the kids, upon request. The hostess was so accommodating to get us seated without a reservation and the service was outstanding. My wife and I split the scallop appetizer special, which was had a definite fall flavor profile. I ended up getting the wild mushroom and veggies with zoodles/burrata, which was comforting on a chilly night in the Berkshires. We will be coming back to try more of the awesome menu!

Underwhelmed. One meal was cold and had to be sent back (it was replaced with apologies). My duck, I expected to be medium to rare, but it was rather overcooked for European tastes. The food was okay, but nothing special and therfore felt overpriced.
