Amazing meal tonight at CafeAdam! Fig and Strawberry salad was outstanding. Bavette steak was cooked to perfection as were the lollipop lamb chops! We highly recommend and will be back next time we visit the Berkshires!
Restaurant is in a nice little community of other nice looking establishments. Landscaping is nicely done. Food was very interesting and they had all different types of options. Wide variety of food options. Loved the chicken burger and udon noodles my wife and i got. The appetizer dip we got was also realllyyyy really good. Wasn’t a fan of the house ketchup for my fries as it seemed to be a blend of teriyaki and ketchup, but i bet a lot if others love it. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go back.
Food was fantastic. Service was friendly but slow.
A real gem in The Berkshires
Excellent food and service
Food was good but terribly spaced out. Apps arrived within 5min, the main course an hour later (made worse by the server saying it was almost ready and then it didn’t come until 30min after this conversation). The udon noodles were burning hot. By the time we could eat them, everyone else was done with their meal. Disappointing and had the potential to be great.
I expected Café Adam to deliver food that matched its prices in quality, but I was sorely mistaken. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The host barely mumbled a greeting and silently led us to our table, gesturing instead of speaking. While our server was more attentive, the overall attitude was far from customer-centric.
Apparently, “the chef” insists that the entire meal be ordered at once—ostensibly to manage timing. Yet, after our appetizer plates were whisked away—food still on them—we sat at an empty table for 20 minutes before the main course arrived.
And the food? Truly disappointing. A $7 bread order got us one thick slice of toasted bread—just one. Why even charge for this? The mussels were laughably small, no bigger than pearls. The calamari portion was both tiny and underwhelming.
The entrees were where the experience truly nosedived. The fish and chips special offered a single, one-ounce piece of fish drowned in oily breading. The duck confit was dry, tough—reminiscent of shoe leather—and served on a bed of bland beans and gristly sausage bits that lacked all flavor.
We ended with a chocolate dessert that was neither molten nor moist—just dry and disappointingly small.
We enjoy dining out for the experience of fresh, thoughtfully prepared food. What we got instead was a deeply underwhelming meal capped off with a bill of over $200. It felt like robbery.

Was actually going in without any expectations...what a delightful surprise to have had such a delicious meal. The presentation was lovely, and the staff professional and gracious.

The menu looked great so we decided to take a chance & we struck gold! The appetizer (Roman artichoke) was delicious, our main courses (Yellowfin tuna bento & the halibut special) were to die for, my cocktail was tasty & our desserts (Lemon ginger panna cotta & banana Napoleon) were unbelievable! If you ever find yourself out this way, try this place! You WON’T be disappointed!
The maitre d’ was dressed in old jeans and an untucked shirt. In a restaurant where entrees can cost $45. He conducted us to our table, plopped the menus down, and departed. No pulling the chair out for my fellow diner, no “Enjoy your dinner.” What gives? In this day and age, the menu is even more meat-centric than it used to be. So I had pasta with shrimp, which managed to be very rich and unseasoned. I didn’t finish it so the waitress handed me an empty cardboard container to fill it myself. The desert, I kid you not, was so tiny it was served in a veritable shot glass. This used to be a great place. No more. Go elsewhere.

We have been dining at Cafe Adam for several years and have had great experiences. Sadly, the quality of the food has declined and the prices are excessive. The tuna was a rare and was sent back and it was still rare. The menu selection is no longer interesting.

Among the very best in the area, possibly the best. These folks know what they are doing. I had the strawberry salad and the scallops. Both were excellent.

I liked this place but wanted to love it. I had the artichokes that are fried. I liked the first few but it needs something to cut the richness. For main, i had the scallops and pork belly. I love salt but it was too salty. I know pork belly is salty. Ive eaten other dishes with it that weren't this salty. Maybe a little balsamic would have helped. I'd go back. Will try something else next time.

Upscale interior and excellent service. High-end farm to table dining, locally sourced. Swordfish was the best I’ve ever had… great prep and presentation.
