BUYER BEWARE. There is no published menu online for this restaurant, and they make price changes to the menu somewhat frequently. I just called to order what I thought was $43 worth of food to be told my total was $74. It seems they just randomly assign menu prices based on the day or caller. Avoid if you can, average food, deceptive service.
Fried rice was just white rice with a bunch of stuff thrown on top of it . General tao's chicken was like just a bunch of sesame seeds on it and tasted like rotisserie chicken. Boneless ribs were fatty and nasty I only went here because I wanted to try it out after years of failure but it's still the same even worse don't go here.
If you want fresh food, great tasting and expertly prepared, all for a an affordable price and fast service too, you must go to the Great Wall in Great Barrington. I drive from Connecticut at least once a week, for the best tasting food around. I've eaten there for years never had a bad meal. Mike is the owner and ensures my meal is always the best, as he does with every order. Great amount of food too, I've never left hungry !
Great Wall is #1 in my book !!
I want to support this place, but it's not great lately. Their version of chow mein is a goopy mess that leaked all over the bag. The gentleman there said not to look at their online menu, it's wrong. So why not take it down?
Staff very friendly food was good
I ordered my meal. All I wanted was a hot dinner honestly. I got home and the rice was incorrect. I paid an extra $5 for what I wanted. They gaslit me on the phone for 9 minutes and insisted that the food was right but the writing on the box was wrong. All the food is ice cold and I do not have rice I like and want to eat. I'm so upset I spent over $50 on food that is literally garbage now. I will never ever return.

Wow this place was so bad. I've never had such bad Chinese food. The cold noodles with sesame sauce literally had no flavor. The kung pao tofu was hot and spicy but curiously without flavor. It was just plain hot. The mushu vegetables were terrible. Sorry, but I wouldn't go back.
I had really great take out from here. I was super happy with my order, they were nice, speedy, and everything tasted really good.

I liked this place, and found the staff friendly.
If you're looking for a fancy or hip place, go elsewhere. This is more like a takeout place that has 4 or 5 tables. But, it was exactly the type of place this New Yorker was looking for when eating on my own on a recent road trip. It seemed like other reviews here were expecting too much and simply chose the wrong place, so I decided to write this review.
I ordered their tangerine chicken (what I normally call orange chicken) and white rice. Since it's such a small place, the food comes out piping hot. It was delivered to my table before I paid.
The dish was tasty, and left a slight spicy hotness after eating, all good. The vegetables seemed fresh as well, and a decent sized portion of white rice. It's served on take-out containers, paper plates, and plastic ware (yeah, get over it, this works fine).
I was there when it started to rain, and the older guy there (I assume owner) was nice enough to tell another customer he left his window open. I had purchased a drink I half finished, and I didn't want to dump half a Monster can in their trash and told the owner I was leaving it. His response was "you can stay, finish it, no rush". While that goes without saying, I think it was nice of him to invite me to stay.
Again, if you're looking to impress a first date with a restaurant, I wouldn't pick this place. But I would have no problem coming here on my own, with friends, or family, and having a cheap meal over good conversation.

I ordered General Tsos chicken and Scallion pancakes and egg roll. The service was nice, but the food was really bad. I couldn't get it down and I am not a picky person. It was that bad. The scallion pancakes were just dough. No scallions in them. The general those chicken was hard and dry and the taste was horrible.I've never had Chinese food that bad in my life.

Wonton soup was flavorless with old wontons falling apart, that had a speckle of meat inside. My beef and broccoli had long uncut stalks of broccoli with a bland grayish sauce. Very disappointing, and practically a waste of my money.

Lived in the area 3 years before I ever tried Great Wall, regretted waiting so long. Best pork egg fo young n chicken chow mein in Berkshire county amongst other dishes. Incredibly impressed, food is always fresh and have not had a bad meal yet. Prices are also very reasonable. Don't let the outside fool you.

My family has been coming here for 30 years and we have never been disappointed. The food is great and the staff is always pleasant. I can't believe the poor reviews some people are giving. They must be expecting something other than traditional Chinese takeout. If you want Great food, try the Great Wall. Our favorites are the pork fried rice, chicken fingers and chicken chow mein. ?
