We ordered a chocolate cake for my daughters birthday. The cake was very pretty but the cake itself was terrible. We all looked at each after taking a bite- so dry it was crumbly. Cool whip was used instead of icing. It cost $50 and was really bad. A house full of teenagers and the cake ended up getting thrown away. I left a message for management and never received a response. We’ve been locals a long time but will never go back. Surprisingly awful tasting cake.
GF macaron! Beautiful cakes and pastries!

The stars are for the mocha latte I ordered. It was good but average. I also ordered an egg and cheese on a croissant. The cheese was excessive and the croissant very greasy. I had a few bites and threw out the rest. Honestly, I’ve had better breakfast and espresso at home. A should have tried their sweets, as the pastries looked amazing.

Let's face it the pastry is excellent both here and in the Lenox branch but for some reason there's always a staffing issue here..... waited over 30 minutes to be served requested a vanilla croissant went outside and got a chocolate one which went into the garbage.... they need to do better with their training of Staff but if you want good pastry and you want to put up with possibility if getting the wrong item after a very long wait with one person on duty while others are in the back room talking then this just might be your place

After waiting 30 minutes for a sandwich and a coffee that never came, unfortunately I had to leave. The patisseries were good, specifically the macarons. I would not recommend going here for a meal, however.
10/19/24 The website indicated Sat., store hours are 8am-6pm. At 5:25 with 4 people in line, we are told " we're closing in 5min., have your orders ready." At 5:30, 4 of us are still in line and told to leave. We argued back and forth til she agreed to complete our orders. We won't return for breakfast tomorrow, as originally planned.

The barista overfilled the coffee cups to where I could not move them without splashing scalding liquid all over my hands. It would have been a simple/small thing for him to not fill the cups so full, he simply didn't care, and yes he knew because he spilled it on himself as well.

Even if I went to France, I bet the food wouldn't taste as good. This place is a gem!

This place looks lovely from the outside. However - I would not recommend for breakfast. Waited 25 mins for 2 eggs, toast and bacon (I was the only order in the kitchen at the time). As you can see from the photo, it was like an exercise in how to make food look unappealing.
There's a sign asking for orders to be placed at the counter, and that you need to bus your own table. As an Irish person, I will never understand why you still have to tip when you are basically serving yourself😄
For some reason, there was a $1.50 additional charge for the eggs to be poached, even though the breakfast board says "2 eggs, any style".
The very basic breakfast (with tea) came to $24 with tax and tip. A pain au chocolat was $6.42!
The place was also full of flies - I was swatting them away the whole time I was there.
Staff completely disinterested - one staff member with earphones in (both ears) serving behind the counter, another ignored me standing at the counter for 3-4 minutes (eventually another member of staff came out of the kitchen).
I get the feeling there is no manager here.
Maybe stick to the (expensive) pastries and stop the breakfasts!

We were a party of four on a late morning. We ordered several different drinks and foods, all were delicious and priced reasonably. We sat outside on a hot day.
Will definitely come back again when we will be around.
Parking: Free street parking, limited to two hours and not very abundant.
