Don't go here if you have a food allergy. Told the staff my wife has a dairy allergy and an hour later we were at urgent care due to a severe allergy attack.Dietary restrictions: Go somewhere else

It would have been nice to inform people who call to place a pick up order that your only taking cash. When you don't have that long of a work lunch break and you relied on your To go order for lunch and now have nothing until the end of the day. If I knew I would have went somewhere to get cash ahead of time.

Staff is friendly but the food is amazing. We travel for work so it's nice to have some home cooked food.

Great breakfast place with good homemade food - there looked like so many good options but my wife and I chose the corned beef Benedict and the breakfast quesadilla, both were great - I would of liked a little more yoke out of my eggs but other than that the corned beef was very tender and just fell apart.

This place is fantastic! I've been looking for authentic Mexican food and boy do they know how to do just that. The food is over the top. The waitress is so kind and friendly. Absolutely recommend you eat here. Great place to sit back and relax while waiting for your meal.

It's a cozy little spot. It has picnic benches outside for warm months, with a view of nature. The Huevos Rancheros is our go-to meal for breakfast. Good quality food, friendly service, what more could you ask?

The Rio Cafe serves fresh, well prepared food with a menu ranging from smoothies to dishes with a Mexican touch. The soups are excellent especially the tomato bisque. Service is warm and personal. This is the best place to eat breakfast or lunch in Great Barrington.

The food was very good but the service was very slow. Prices were a bit pricey, I thought, for what I ordered but still

The only reason I didn't write this review sooner is because I wanted to keep this local gem somewhat of a secret. You can find me at Rio at least once a week. The menu is packed with amazing Latin dishes, American classics, and my favorite, a bunch of incredible breakfast items. Great for a big group who want a varied menu, they often also have an expansive list of creative and fun specials. The house made hot sauce is so good you'll be tempted to slip it into your pocket.Legit - if you are an eggs Benedict fan, the scratch hollandaise will make you weep.Beautiful outdoor seating, family and dog friendly. The service is excellent and the staff are sweethearts.Ticket times can be a bit of a wait on busier days, but chat with the people you're with, the wait will be worth it.Kid-friendliness: Lots of menu options and a big back yard for running around.

This business is tacky and unprofessional. Not only did they open up 25 minutes late and walked right past me with no apology or explanation, but then wanted to charge me extra money to top off my copy before I left. Better customer service would've been to treat me to a free cup of coffee given that I stood out in the cold waiting for them to open for 25 minutes. I will never go back here and I suggested you never go either.

Loved it! Really friendly staff, great location and the food was excellent! I had the chile relleno omelette per recommendation of our waitress and it did not disappoint.

Rios is one of my go to restaurants for brunch or lunch. The staff are lovely and helpful and while I have some favorite dishes, like the chili relleno omelet, there are still many more things I would like to try. I will continue to come here frequently!
