We had just booked our wedding venue in the Great Barrington area, and knew that many of our friends and family members would be arriving the night before and staying in Great Barrington. We wanted to throw a welcome party for everyone to get people mingling and having fun in a very casual and fun atmosphere. Cove Bowling and the Backstage Grill seemed absolutely perfect! I reserved the bowling lanes in April, and I was in contact with Robin about the food menu since the summer. She is phenomenal!!!!! We spoke on the phone many times… she’s so enthusiastic and ready to help and she had so much to offer. She and her daughter even decorated the tables for us, and went out of their way to help our guests give us a very sweet memento :) There were SOO many food options, and she was so accommodating to my guests with food allergies. We ended up with around 80 guests, and we ordered a bunch of pizzas, chicken tenders, wings, and fruit platters... plenty of food. Our guests opened their own tabs at the bar and compared to Boston/NY drink prices, they were happily surprised at how low their bar tabs were! The prices overall were super reasonable and I'm so happy that we chose to host our welcome party here!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating. Our friend w celiac had her own personal cauliflower crust pizza!

The food was absolutely delicious. Robin was kind and friendly. I would recommend that anyone visiting Great Barrington eat here, although a bowling alley isn’t necessarily where you’d expect to have such a great meal. We celebrated my son’s birthday at the cove this past weekend and we enjoyed the food at the backstage grille for the party. The kids loved the food and Robin and her team made it so much easier to manage 20+ boys and their families. Totally recommend..!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Celebrated my son’s 12th birthday at Cove Bowling today and was very pleased with both the food and service at Backstage Grill! Robin was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating to work with. We only needed some snack foods since it was between lunch & dinner, and she took great care of us and the food was much better than one would expect at a bowling alley - the wings in particular were a big hit. Thanks again for a great afternoon!

What a surprise, Finally a bowling alley with a restaurant that serves great food!!! Flat bread pizzas here are amazing and the burgers are actually thick and juicy!

This little gem inside the Cove bowling alley was a solid find! We were in search of late night eats in Great Barrington and noticed they were open til midnight (it was a Saturday) so we stopped in and were happy we did. Samantha and Steve were great and walked us through the menu. We ordered the pepperoni flatbread, wings, loaded tots and chicken tenders. Everything was solid. Wings were perfectly prepared (and subsequently given the Buffalo stamp of approval) and the backstage buffalo sauce was fantastic. The loaded tots were incredible.. do not pass on the garlic cheese sauce! The tenders were a little underwhelming to me, but only because I think they were left in the fryer a bit too long as they were on the drier side. I'd give them another shot though based on all the other positive reviews about them. Pizza was simple and delicious.Give this place a try! You won't be disappointed.

I love the jumbo pretzel!! Chez sauce? YES PLEASE!! My family ate 3 of them…we also split 3 chicken, bacon, ranch flatbread. Pizzas! The chicken fingers are breaded perfectly to perfection!! I suggest getting the homemade barbecue sauce!!! The staff is super friendly! Much needed to the cove! Also late night vibe.
Pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! Come on by and try it out.

We got into the area late. The options of food were limited, but we found this and it was such a pleasant surprise. Robin was extremely friendly and her service was exceptional. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. Robin was wise enough to establish her grille in a place where she can serve her excellent food beyond the hours of other restaurants in the area.Kid-friendliness: Kid’s favorite options but generous servings that taste great.
