Amazing find. The staff was super friendly and they helped me choose a vegetarian option - the falafel burger and a side of fries. The burger was excellent and the fries were so good! The serving of fries was quite generous too and two or even three people could've have easily shared them. They serve you at the window and you can seat yourself at any of the picnic tables in the lawn behind the kitchen. The views of the hills were amazing in late fall. It was a bit cold and I wish to return on a warmer, sunnier day.

I've patronized the bistro box for at least 5 years but at this point I'm done. Prices in the stratosphere for reduced quality product served up by surly people. Extremely over-rated.

Absolutely amazing spot. The Box Burger was so fire along with some truffle fries and the tomato soup. Literally my mouth is watering thinking about it and I want it again already. It’s great atmosphere too if it’s summer or fall! Top 10 food spots of all time for me personally.

It doesn't get much better then this..... A throwback to great roadside food, service and no better place then outdoors in the Berkshires.

Best sandwiches in town. The line is worth the wait. The Turkey special was the best thing I have ate all year.

A client of mine recommended this restaurant. It is quite remarkable. The food is prepared with love. Everything tastes very “farm to table” fresh! The staff are very friendly and genuinely happy to help in any way possible. I totally recommend the breakfast sandwiches, wraps, burgers and iced coffee!

What an amazing place we stumbled upon on our day trip to Mass! Little cute food place on the side of the road. Superb quality food cooked to perfection with a great array of choices! Also a doggie menu!! Homemade lenonade, ice cream, parmesan truffle fries, brisket to name a few. Lots of picnic tables in front and back to sit and eat (outdoor seating only), frisbees and cornhole boards, port a johns. It was so good we plan on driving an hour each way to visit again. Try this little place! You wont be disappointed!

Went to a car show and had chicken quesdilla, and a orange cranberry smoothie with mint tree. It was very delicious.

Solid 3.99/4.

I was curious about this place since I started going to great barrington for dispo runs but I either never had money or the time. I did today, so I stopped by after work. There was a car show so it was pretty crowded. The crowd was chill with some kids but not too bad.

While we're on the subject of crowds, it was packed but the wait looked worse than it actually was. However the larger your group the longer you have to wait. I didn't mind. It moved slow but you get your food quickly. Service was friendly.

I had enough chicken and burgers so I had the steak and cheese sandwich. It was a bit of a letdown. The portion was small, the cheese sauce overpowered everything and was not worth the tall price of $14.50. The chili fries were decent, bit again on the high side. Fantastic raspberry lemonade, though. The most praised item was the burger so I'll return to try that next time. They also put flowers as garnish on your food which was kind of weird. Well, this is the eclectic berkshires after all.

I would return during the week when the whole state isn't hanging out here.

A little pricey for a shack where you need to eat outside or in your car. Food is good though.

Haven't been in 4 years. I got there 30 mins before open and I was 3rd in line. The chicken sandwich was good. The coconut shrimp were somewhat lackluster. The sweet potato fries were okay. I probably would skip the next time I'm in the area.

There's a reason the line forms at 11 and needs to be cutoff at 3:15. The food is spectacular. Recently tried a coconut shrimp special, gazpacho soup, Tuscan panini and onion rings. Everyone gets the burger so we went with other choices and weren't disappointed...the shrimp and gazpacho were amazingly tasty. Honestly you can't go wrong here. Aside from the food, the team that runs the Box couldn't be nicer and everyone always greet you with a smile. That goes a long way...they are so busy but never lose their laid-back Berkshires vibe. It's a special place.

Nice on a day when the weather is good.
Lovely countryside setting.
Simple American style menu, and delicious.
Service was shockingly slow at lunchtime, like the entire place was being run by one person. But if you’re not in a rush, give it a try. The food is cooked to order, so there’s a reason for the speed. And they have a pet menu. You can’t exactly get that everywhere!
