Don’t get me wrong, I quite enjoyed my visit to the Bistro Box. I didn’t enjoy the almost half hour wait to place an order, the Box Burger that was almost completely raw in the middle or the high price for that burger and the lemonade.

My wife quite enjoyed the chicken wrap, the flavoured fries were some of the best we’ve ever had, and our grandkids enjoyed playing with the corn hole game.

Will give it a second chance when we are in the area again next time.

Do not drive by this unassuming roadside eatery, you will regret it. Nestled at the bottom of a mountain in a valley it is such a beautiful place to have a bite. The staff are hard working and really easy going.

The food was amazing. I got the box burger, which is their specialty, and have been craving it since. That bacon jam is to DIE for! My wife enjoyed her turkey wrap thoroughly to the point that she wanted to stop back again and get another on the way home. Her and I split the large order of fries and still had more than half left after the meal. We paired that with their housemade pickle ranch which I could best compare to tzatziki, it was heavenly. Fries were handcut and perfectly crispy on the outside. We washed it down with their cranberry raspberry slush. Not too sweet and really refreshing.

Like I said, you need to stop here!

Food is very bad, chicken tenders taste like flour and oil. The burger was not much better at all, bacon hard, way to many onions...65$ is a waste here for 2 burgers, chicken tenders and fries. Do not recommend at all.

Went this morning. I didn't know what time it opened so I was there at 10:50am (they open at 11) I politely walked up to the window and said hey do you have a menu and what time do you open. A blonde woman who was very nice said 11. I told her I would be back around 1130 and can I place a TO GO order. Nice woman said yes.

I call around 11:30. Young girl brown hair rudely picks up hellllooo. I say hey is this the bistro box can I have something to go
She says "No you can wait in line it's too long".
I said "oh, the blonde woman told me 40 mins ago when I stopped by I could.

She says "oh is that so" in a condescending tone like I was lying. She is rude and this isn't the first time. The first time I let it go. They lost a customer... I'm sick of being stared down like im a POS when I pull in by the young girl. I guarantee this isn't the first time she's been a problem because she's never pleasant. Too bad but she is the reason I'll never go back. I'll spend my money with people who treat their customers with respect.

Really good roadside food. Lots of choices. All tasty! Takes a long time to order and receive but it's worth the wait.

A really nice food truck on the southern tip of Great Barrington. Casual with quality. Nothing “bistro” about this place, but if you’re looking for great sandwiches with quality ingredients you’ve come to the right place.
Eating outside on the picnic tables adds to the experience. A beautifully kept expansive meadow serves as the “dining room”. Corn holes and frisbees make it family friendly.
A bit pricey. Two sandwiches, onion rings and two lemonades came out to be $58.

It’s very good but not worth the long, slow wait. I hope they add capacity soon so they are able to serve their customers in a more timely fashion.

Place is great, food was great, staff were lovely, and view of the hills in Autumn is perfect! Best grilled chicken sammie ive ever had and their sweet potato fries are fire. All that said, I'm only actually writing this review because they currently have 666 reviews and the place is too good for the superstitous types to avoid it.

Great food and a beautiful place to eat outdoors. Looks like a roadside shake, but it's a must stop.

Food was solid, came out quick, and the roadside shack vibe with lawn games was fun.
Negatives:
- Prices were too high for the small portion sizes. My panini for $15 looks good by itself, but see the photo where half is smaller than my average-sized palm.
- My pesto panini lacked some oomph. At first I thought it needed salt, but what it really needed was more than a dab of pesto.
- Porta-potties for bathrooms is a poor choice, even though they’re fancy.

Vegetarian options: Whole vegetarian selection.

Parking: Probably 20 spots

Food was AMAZING!!! The pumpkin spice shake is hands down the best shake I’ve ever tasted. The waiting time for food was pretty good too. Very clean and the atmosphere and landscape behind in the fall were beautiful. Only bit to consider is that this is an outside seating place. Also how cute is it that they have a ? doggie menu.
