This place had amazing food (the raspberry peach slushie was incredible) and a fun outdoor atmosphere. They had outdoor games if you wanted to keep busy or great views of the hills if you just wanted to sit. They also had a dog menu if you have pets!
gahhhhhdaym this burger was busting beyond belief like woah nelly hold your horses typa scrumptious. gone here 3 times and got the box burger each time.
literally the best burger i’ve ever had in my over 20 years of existing on this planet. like the 40 min wait is 100% worth it and i have no regrets at all. the burger is completely gone within like 5 minutes which is a bit unfortunate, but following it up with the chilli fries def puts it over the top. staff are nice, tables and tabley, they have games and things of that nature.
just an overall splendid experience, ethereal some would say. sometimes when i go im so giddy to take a bite i have to take a breather just to prepare myself for how fire it’s about to be
This place smells so hood from the road
I think my flavor sensors blew up coz this place is the bomb. Get the grilled chicken sandwich. Juicy, tender, the bread, the fresh veggies, THE SAUCE! Just get it. Next, the falafel burger. Ever had a dry falafel? I dont think these guys know what that is. You won't be disappointed. Are the prices a bit heavy? Yes. Do the flavors and beautiful ambience while having lunch merit those dollars? Yes. If we are in GB, Mass again we will be back.
Burger great
Gets crowded early and there's a little bit of the wait. Well worth it though! My husband got the box burger, I got the chicken tenders, and we split the parmesan truffle fries. All of it was excellent. Oh, plus a burger patty for our dog.
The reason I'm giving 4 starts is because we experienced multiple offleash dogs running around and going up to tables/people. There were a lot of small children around and I think it could have been a hazard. I saw one family have to pick up their baby from a blanket that a dog immediately ran all over, they folded it up and left. I'm unsure if this place doesn't require dogs to be on leash or if it was a rare event by one inconsiderate person.
Everything else was great!
Nice people fresh food from local sources good food definitely will visit again

Don’t get me wrong, I quite enjoyed my visit to the Bistro Box. I didn’t enjoy the almost half hour wait to place an order, the Box Burger that was almost completely raw in the middle or the high price for that burger and the lemonade.
My wife quite enjoyed the chicken wrap, the flavoured fries were some of the best we’ve ever had, and our grandkids enjoyed playing with the corn hole game.
Will give it a second chance when we are in the area again next time.

Do not drive by this unassuming roadside eatery, you will regret it. Nestled at the bottom of a mountain in a valley it is such a beautiful place to have a bite. The staff are hard working and really easy going.
The food was amazing. I got the box burger, which is their specialty, and have been craving it since. That bacon jam is to DIE for! My wife enjoyed her turkey wrap thoroughly to the point that she wanted to stop back again and get another on the way home. Her and I split the large order of fries and still had more than half left after the meal. We paired that with their housemade pickle ranch which I could best compare to tzatziki, it was heavenly. Fries were handcut and perfectly crispy on the outside. We washed it down with their cranberry raspberry slush. Not too sweet and really refreshing.
Like I said, you need to stop here!

Food is very bad, chicken tenders taste like flour and oil. The burger was not much better at all, bacon hard, way to many onions...65$ is a waste here for 2 burgers, chicken tenders and fries. Do not recommend at all.

Went this morning. I didn't know what time it opened so I was there at 10:50am (they open at 11) I politely walked up to the window and said hey do you have a menu and what time do you open. A blonde woman who was very nice said 11. I told her I would be back around 1130 and can I place a TO GO order. Nice woman said yes.
I call around 11:30. Young girl brown hair rudely picks up hellllooo. I say hey is this the bistro box can I have something to go
She says "No you can wait in line it's too long".
I said "oh, the blonde woman told me 40 mins ago when I stopped by I could.
She says "oh is that so" in a condescending tone like I was lying. She is rude and this isn't the first time. The first time I let it go. They lost a customer... I'm sick of being stared down like im a POS when I pull in by the young girl. I guarantee this isn't the first time she's been a problem because she's never pleasant. Too bad but she is the reason I'll never go back. I'll spend my money with people who treat their customers with respect.

A really nice food truck on the southern tip of Great Barrington. Casual with quality. Nothing “bistro” about this place, but if you’re looking for great sandwiches with quality ingredients you’ve come to the right place.
Eating outside on the picnic tables adds to the experience. A beautifully kept expansive meadow serves as the “dining room”. Corn holes and frisbees make it family friendly.
A bit pricey. Two sandwiches, onion rings and two lemonades came out to be $58.
