We were so pleasantly surprised at this wonderful and delicious authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was extremely fresh and was good quality.

What a surprise to find these traditional plates here in great Barrington!

The rice and beans were wonderful as well as the flaunts and the enchiladas!

The MUSIC was authentic and fantastic. The service was very fast and everything was very clean. Even the water tasted great. ! ?

We absolutely love this place. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is so darned amazing. They were even featured on the Food Network for their special Mole. One critic claimed it is the best mole east of Chicago. It is a wonderful blend of spices. More savory than sweet. The guacamole was perhaps one of the best I have ever had. We also ordered the T-Bone steak. My friend likes it bloody rare and it was absolutely perfect! The salmon was also cooked to perfection. Nice thick piece and very moist. It was served over healthy greens with tomatoes, mushrooms and it was lightly dressed in a vinaigrette. Underneath the greens was a small portion of rice. The rice was not your typical rice. There were some mixed veggies (lima beans, peas, corn) cooked into the rice.
The service was impeccable. Magali was our waitress. She treated us as if we were guests in her own home. The man that greeted us and showed us to our booth was friendly and accommodating. Also, the very handsome young man that kept our water glasses full was a delight. Everyone was so attentive. As we were leaving Magali gave me a hug and the staff was all lined up and thanked us for coming in.

We did an overnight stop in the Great Barrington on a swing through Vermont. After several mediocre meals at allegedly fine dining restaurants in the Stowe area, this place was a breath of fresh air. Great service, food and atmosphere. Very nice selection of margaritas at good prices. Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing place. The staff are super friendly, atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the food is delicious. I had the scallops and my husband had the birria tacos. We started with the house made to order guacamole which was fresh and flavorful. We will be back.

Had reservations for four. Got right in on a Saturday, 7:30pm. The place was packed and loud. We were seated at a square wooden table; squeezed next to some booths and on the isle where servers were going back and forth to the outside patio and other tables. I was bumped several times during our meal with no apology. One meal, steak fajita, was uneatable. Another, three tacos with soft tortillas was unremarkable. They were pork with lumps of meat with little flavor. My draft beer was flat but I chose not to send it back. I will say that the staff were very attentive and polite. Not likely to go back.

This place literally saved our 10th anniversary. After driving 2.5 hours for our annual visit to our go to spot right down the road, only to find out they were closed early for a private function, (totally understandable IF they had posted that fact somewhere which they did not) we decided to try this place. We are so glad we did. Excellent FRESH great tasting and neatly presented food, nice outdoor seating and our Server Angel was spot -on with attentive, friendly service. Great spot and we will definitely return.

Native of Colorado, lived in southern New Mexico for years, and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant east of the Mississippi. Angel and the rest of the family here are so attentive and kind. The food is fantastic and their chiles are amazing, like they came straight out of Las Cruces. Everything is great, but my latest obsession is their tacos birria. Awesome food, being treated like family, and a soundtrack straight out of La Radio Canyon Juarez, this is food for the soul!

We loved everything about this place! We’re from Texas where we pride ourselves on recognizing excellent Mexican food. Well, we found it here! The margaritas were perfect, the guacamole was fresh and delicious! I ordered the chicken tostados. Two crispy corn tortillas, layered with refried beans, a delicious sauce, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and queso fresco. They were divine! Navid, our waitress, was personable, helpful and excellent. We really enjoyed her waiting on us. We heartily recommend this place!

We love this place. They have a whole vegetarian section with plenty of vegan options. Their mushroom dishes and guacamole are our favorite, and the restaurant is also really cute with nice service and outdoor seating options.
