Rootbeer is delicious! Staff 5⭐️. My food was okay, I ordered a rebuen and it was cold in the middle [?] Like how?! The tater tots kinda tasted like dish soap. Food was really greasy. I also got sick 15 mins leaving the restaurant.

Me and my mom have been coming here on and off since it was the Route 9 Diner. The Route 9 Diner had a much better selection on their menu and the staff were always on top for your needs. The food was fresh and hot and they even had desserts made fresh daily. Since Johnny's roadside took over, everything went straight down hill. The menu selection has gotten much smaller as well with the portions for the value. Today (12/7/25) we had a table of 5. The waitress checked on us maybe a couple times and refilled our drinks. Two of us asked for fries and we all got tater tots. The burger melt I ordered (the patties) was flat as a pancake and tasted like it came out of the freezer. I asked for pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar cheese instead they added both.🤦♂️ The cheese that came with our meals tasted like it was just added, not very warm and melted. The coffee was warm but not as hot like coffee should be served. The breakfast menu is huge than the lunch menu which is basically a couple paragraphs. I would recommend this place just for breakfast, not so much for lunch.

Best diner I have been to in a long time! I can’t say one negative thing about this place! Our server was super sweet and the food was tasty with excellent portions . The coffee was on point too! I can’t wait to come back and try lunch next time!

The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the corn bread waffle and real syrup. The corned beef hash was amazing too. Had real pieces of corned beef. I also tried the cider mimosa which was very good!!

We go here everytime we visit our kids at UMass. The staff is very friendly and they have a large selection of food and it’s all delicious. It can get very busy during certain weekends so best get there early!
