Tandem is often a hit. But if it’s busy I suggest going elsewhere. I always place a mobile order when I can to try and save time but despite that, my egg sandwich took a decent amount of time and the avocado put on it was brown! It’s upsetting when you pay extra for a topping and it isn’t decent quality. I know this business gets busy, but you’d think the website would provide an accurate pick up time as well!

I have been ordering from Tandem, specifically the Hadley location, using the preorder for a while now. I placed an order at 7:15, with the time stamp of ready at 7:32. Due to an important appointment, this time frame was perfect for me. I showed up, was handed 2/3 drinks and told at the window ‘she was making my smoothie now.’ Mind you, I already arrived around 7:38. The worker left the window open and walked away, we waited over 10 minutes, no one came back to the window to let us know an update or give us the smoothie. We drove away at 7:52, a full 20 minutes past when the order should have been ready and nearly 40 minutes past when I ordered. I am extremely dissapointed and I was unable to go inside to get a refund due to the time pushing closer to when I needed to leave.

We need one of these in Boston or even just in downtown Amherst immediately. Amazing breakfast sandwiches and bagels in general, lots of options to choose from and the quality is just amazing.
One of the best breakfast spots by UMass in my opinion.
Wife got $90 of bagels and coffee for work. Solid bagels but awful service. Seemed inconvenienced by the order and had to be prompted for the items that were missed (cream cheese, coffees).
