This is easily the worst bbq I’ve had and overpriced for the quality of food. None of the meat was tender or moist. The meat wasn’t cooked enough to be tender but if they cooked it longer it wouldn’t have any moisture at all, the telltale sign of people making bbq but don’t know how to do it for real. They brand the idea of bbq at their establishment but their food is easily replicated with your standard conventional oven at home with no smoker needed. Save yourself the money and make poor man burnt ends out of chuck roast at home before spending money at this place.

Food wasn’t that great. Mac was awful. Brisket was trash. Cookies are okay. Burnt ends were okay as well. For the cost of the food, I expected more.I guess because this area of Mass has nothing their expectations for BBQ are much lower or something. Not sure how this place has almost 5 stars.

Food is pretty solid but was not blown away. I went there a couple of hours prior to close so this could have very likely the reason why. The ribs were pretty good, especially when paired with some of the sauces they offer which is probably the highlight of the dish overall. The mac and cheese was fairly underwhelming and needs a bit more love. I also got the burnt ends as well; and when you mix in some of the meat/sauce with the mac, it drastically improves it. The best part of the meal was probably the cornbread which was moist, flavorful and paired well with the main entree. I Will be sure to try again but will make sure to go earlier in the day next time. As a lover of BBQ, I would also note some items seemed a bit pricey for desirable items but the menu is big enough to where you can find something fulfilling for a reasonable price.

Very disappointing experience. Smoked chicken was rubbery, ribs were dry with barely any meat on them, rice was cold and mushy. Nice atmosphere but food isn’t good.

I ordered the barbecue wings and was horribly disappointed. I had huge chunks of feathers still attached! I've never seen anything like it. The MSc and cheese was cold cold. Like the cheese sprinkled in top had yet to be melted. The food is bland and sad.

My recent trip to Wildwood BBQ was like a crash landing in the world of bad dining. The pulled pork? It was drier than the Sahara – felt like I was eating a meaty desert. And don't even get me started on the mashed potatoes – bland, mushy, and served colder than my ex's heart. But the real showstopper was the front counter staff, who seemed more interested in their own gossip than giving a hoot about serving customers. It felt like I walked into a reality TV show about disinterested service. And the desserts, oh boy. The cakes tasted like they'd been forgotten in a time capsule – stale, sad, and definitely not winning any freshness awards. To top it off, the place looked like it hadn't seen a mop or a dust cloth since the invention of barbecue. A cleanliness score? Barely a passing grade.Bottom line: Wildwood BBQ needs a serious wake-up call. If you're into dry meat, cold sides, and staff treating the place like their personal hangout, this is your spot. But for those who enjoy a decent dining experience, steer clear and find somewhere that values your taste buds.

Solid barbecue for middle of Massachusetts. The meat options were great and the portions were generous. The various sauces, cornbread, and the decor helped the experience

Great looking food but what a shame… pulled chicken dryer than sandpaper, dry bbq beans, brisket room temp and very clearly reheated food. What shame this place has a great atmosphere, the cooking technique is there with the smoking and seasoning but their downfall is the reheating of days old meats. There is absolutely no way these meats are freshly smoked that day which is so unfortunate because this place could be so much better if they didn’t take shortcuts on the food. Bbq is about time and love which they put into it on the brisket, burnt ends, and other meats only to be ruined by being reheated and no quality control. Come on guys TASTE your food before it goes out or is served! The average person wont know the difference but I have been in restaurants for 23 years and I am a Bbq addict and smoke meats also, I would bet $100 that these are day old meats and sides reheated… you can do better.

I'm picky about BBQ, but did enjoy it. The catfish was absolutely amazing, the pulled pork was very good, but the brisket was a bit too fatty. You order at the counter, bring cash because they don't allow tips on a card. The tip jar is on the counter as they don't do table service. The staff was friendly & my order was ready fast.

Good barbecue fast casual restaurant. The have 3 different types of bbq sauces available. The desserts looked great so I got the pecan pie and it was delicious.

Love their burnt ends, big Texan sandwich, collard greens, pickles. Often great specials. Great beer selection. I live in Northampton and try to make trips to or through Hadley to coincide with mealtimes whenever possible. A gem.

Service was outstanding. The food was not good. Burned ends were dried, tasteless. Ribs were ok. Nothing to brag about. Which was disappointing because a couple of years ago the food was awesome.
