Best Chicken Fingers anywhere! They’re not on the menu so be sure to ask if they have them. Unchanged for over 30 years.

My husband and I ordered takeout and they told us 20 minutes. We live right down the street . We went to pick up and my husband went in and was ignored. He finally stopped one woman and she said someone will be right with you. He waited for st least another10 minutes and went over to the bar area and told them he was there for pick up and was again ignored. He finally spoke up again and a woman said let me check. She brought out the food after being in there for at least 20 minutes . Now this is after coming there 30 minutes after we called and ordered and waited at home for 25 minutes before going to pick up. When we went home we opened the bag and the food was ice cold. We tried to warm up in microwave but didn’t want to heat up too much and ruin the meal. When we sat down to eat my husband cut into his steak and the smell was so overpowering line it was rotten. He couldn’t even eat it. My chicken was horrible !! The potato skins were hard as a rock.
I called the manager and he didn’t even have the decency to talk to me. He just listened to me and said oh. I asked if that is all he has to say and he said he was sorry and that’s why he doesn’t like doing take out orders. He made it like it was our fault. I told him I would bring it back to him but he didn’t seem to want to listen. He said he would try and maybe take some money off. I doubt this will happen. He was so unprofessional. We were so disappointed and we will never go back there again because they way we were treated.

Love love love this place. I'm pretty sure I already reviewed it. Prime rib on a Friday Saturday. Unreal. Try the tavern delight. It's heavy but sooooo good.

When I went here, the bathroom was so riddled with fruit flies that I could physically feel them flying into my face and arms as I used the restroom. I sat down and when I finally did get my food. It came to the table cold and under cooked. When I asked for it to be cooked a little longer it came back back overcooked, beyond what I asked for. (I asked for it medium rare I got it well done). I was also given attitude the entire time by some blonde waitress that smelled like a soggy ash tray from the back room of Victoria’s Secret.

The dining area is very intimate (~12 tables plus bar seating), and the servers seem to know all the regular faces. The food was average, and the soda tasted kinda funny.

My favorite restaurant in the Newburyport area and kicks Newburyport’s…Blank. Mary is my favorite server anywhere. This food is so above and beyond. Every single meal I’ve had from fish to steak tips - rocks and the portions are so huge. A salad alone would suffice. I love this restaurant. Try it- you’ll love it

It's always a treat to eat here! Such a varied menu of traditional New England dishes and some great additions like dumplings! Friendly bar and the owner often in evidence. Usually I like the seafood, but for this meal I went Italian pasta. The meatballs, the sauce and garlic bread were very tasty indeed! Good value for the money too.
