The dining area is very intimate (~12 tables plus bar seating), and the servers seem to know all the regular faces. The food was average, and the soda tasted kinda funny.

My favorite restaurant in the Newburyport area and kicks Newburyport’s…Blank. Mary is my favorite server anywhere. This food is so above and beyond. Every single meal I’ve had from fish to steak tips - rocks and the portions are so huge. A salad alone would suffice. I love this restaurant. Try it- you’ll love it

It's always a treat to eat here! Such a varied menu of traditional New England dishes and some great additions like dumplings! Friendly bar and the owner often in evidence. Usually I like the seafood, but for this meal I went Italian pasta. The meatballs, the sauce and garlic bread were very tasty indeed! Good value for the money too.

We were sat at a quaint two-top by the bay window and were waited on by a lovely waitress named Nancy. She was friendly, prompt, and efficient. I had a pint of Sam Summer and my friend had a glass of chardonnay which they filled to the brim-none of this half-glass pour! I had the pastrami sandwich and my friend had the grilled salmon. Both dishes were delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. We most definitely will be back. :)
