I love to get bagels and coffee here. Not a place you want to stay and eat because it is tiny but if you are looking for yummy bagels and some coffee to help make your morning a little easier I would definitely recommend.

The friendliest shop I ever been to. As soon as I came through the door I was greeted with genuine big smiles from the staff who were all behind the counter. They are all inviting and engaging so they make it easy to talk with each of them. It was my first time being a patron here because every time I visit central southern Mass it’s outside their normal hours which is a short interval. So I finally caught them open and I had to take advantage and they did not disappoint. They had strictly made-to-order hot breakfast sandwiches, home made baked goods, fresh brewed coffee and some refrigerated beverages. I ordered quite a bit of items and everything I ordered tasted great like the blueberry tartpop and the bagel with cream cheese . But even though everything I had was great, the slice of toffee cake and that tartpop was so heavenly. This is now my favorite place to get treats when I’m in the area as long as I can catch them while open

These bagels are delicious. I heard about this hidden mom and pop bagel place via Facebook stay local page. I checked them out and bought 6. Today I went back and bought a dozen. A dollar a bagel is great and some were still warm when I got home. Husband loved them also. Staff were friendly. Support your mom and pop places versus chain stores.

I pass the bagel nook every morning on my way to work but am usually in a rush so I’m unable to stop. But the day before thanksgiving I had spontaneously decided to give them a try on my way into work. 1) the shop was SOO cute and homey 2) the women behind the counter were beyond extremely nice 3) the food I got was DELICIOUS. I ended up leaving the shop with 24 bagels, multiple containers of homemade cream cheese, AND if that wasn’t enough… when I asked if they had muffins one of the woman even found a few muffins they had from the day before and I took those aswell! It’s safe to say everything I brought into work to share was gone within minutes of putting it out! Thank you ladies for all your help! If you’re questioning stopping into Lou’s bagel nook… just do it!

Everyone was super friendly and the food was incredible. I had the Blue Ridge and it was just decadent. Will def be back!
Dietary restrictions: There are signs posted to let staff know of allergy’s, I’m allergic to eggs and was able to get a sandwich without egg no issue. I did not order the gluten free bagel this time but it looks like they do have them available.
Kid-friendliness: Halloween decor was very cute, There was another customer with several young kids there at the same time and they picked out their own drinks and stuff, staff was super friendly and there’s one table in there where the kids sat waiting for their order.
