Locals come here for the soft serve ice cream, and they are not wrong. Don’t bother with the hard ice cream options (not a lot of choices and there are other ice cream places with much better hard ice cream).
This location is mostly parking lot. There is a large tent with picnic tables in the back, but not really great ambiance anywhere (despite the name of the place).

We were a party of 8 and it took 45 minutes to get, 8 drinks 3 orders of French fries, 1 order of onion rings, 2 chicken sandwiches, a clam roll and a hot dog, everything was cold, total time 75 minutes by the time we got our checks! Unreasonable, we won't be back

Mountain View is a seasonal place that most people appreciate for inexpensive light fare and great ice cream. This is definitely the place to go to on a hot summer day when you feel like getting a cone, Sunday or milkshake. The regular food is definitely not nutritious or gourmet, but it is inexpensive convenient if you just want a quick light meal.
