I can't, in good conscience, give full marks to a restaurant that chooses to charge extra to get rice with a curry. Not to mention you get maybe a cup of rice which isn't near enough for the curry amount. The taste was fine, just a sprinkle of greed soured the experience.

One of the best things about Thai food for someone with allergies is how reliable it is to find good, well marked menus. This restaurant does not mark a single item for dietary needs on their pages-long menu. They make you ask about every single item. While they do have options, it’s pretty frustrating to have to choose a few things, have the wait staff not know, and they have to go ask the kitchen. It really discourages trying new things and makes me not want to go here even though the food is really good.

Machim replaced Siam, primarily a take out spot and the only Thai options within 20 minutes of Marshfield. I wanted to love it, but each time we go there I just get frustrated for something that would not take them much effort to do.

So this is a total redo of the Thai restaurant that was here before. Wonderful upgrade, both the decor and the food. Worth checking out and dining in, service was great. 👍

Best shrimp pad Thai I ever had and steam dumplings excellent. Bbq pork was just okay. Overall one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to.

Found this place on Google, and decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere was nice, and spacious. The food was average. It seems that everything was too sweet, even the green curry was too sweet. Adjusting the flavors back to less sweet would be better, in my opinion. I don't recall having food that was this sweet when I was in Bangkok and Pattaya.

The food here is top notch! Their curries and noodle dishes are fabulous and their Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups are hearty and delicious! The only complaint I have is the timing is weird when multiple things are ordered. My friend got her app 5 minutes after mine so she sat their basically without food. But once hers came, she loved hers! This place has become my favorite Thai restaurant on the South Shore! 🤤😊

Food was very tasty and good portion. Any Thai place my first choice always the Thai Papaya salad and the salad was really good. Best part of the salad was the string beans which was cut into bite size and eatable not hard at all. Love all the food.

Machim House of Thai Food was a nice surprise. It feels local, a little different, and easy to remember. I added a QR code for anyone curious about nearby updates or things going on here.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Suitable for kids, as well. Very reasonably priced in this economy.
