This used to be a wonderful restaurant with an excellent Sunday brunch. Now it's a very, very limited snack bar. Not even a cafe. A farm-to-fork snack bar--the food was good--but it was shocking compared to what it was a few years ago. It offered one sandwich, one salad, one soup, pizza, and grilled cheese. After checking the Trustees site to pick a date and time, my girlfriend and I drove out to the Fruitlands museum. When we arrived it seemed something was amiss as the gate was only half open. We drove in and I went to the gift shop to see what was going on. When I entered the building the woman behind the counter shushed me while she carried on an insipid conversation on her cell phone for about 10 minutes. Fruitlands Museum Café is a lovely spot for a day trip, offering breathtaking views of New England's natural beauty.
