45 minutes wait on food after ordering. One slice of toast for breakfast order. Then, the staff was discourteous when we expressed our disappointment. Said " I am sure you will still clean your plates"

Great experience. Food was well priced and delicious - the perfect stop for breakfast or if you need to feed the family on the way out of town after checking out of a rental. Also, by accident, we left our credit card there and owner took the time to mail it back to us and went the extra mile.

My family have a yearly tradition to find a breakfast place to enjoy one big meal together, these folks always accommodate our large crowd (plus children), food is outstanding and the service is the best.

Parking: It's off main street, down the alley

Kid-friendliness: They liked ours, about all I can say.

I think Capside Kitchen is a bit of an underrated gem on a not busy day. I had two different experiences when I went.

On Saturday, we tried to get breakfast around 11:00 am. We had walked in a side door near the Main Street and church. We weren't immediately seated, but eventually we got a table. The service was slow, took almost 10 - 15 minutes to get menus and drinks. We had put our food in and waited almost an hour overall to hear nothing from any of the staff/hostesses. We ended up leaving after only getting some drinks.

I went myself on Monday morning for breakfast. The place was nearly empty and I was able to get service within 5 minutes of getting there. The woman who took my order was friendly and the wait wasn't too long at all. I took my food to go and it traveled very well. It had a good flavor, I just wish the home fries had a little more spice or seasoning. Otherwise, no other complaints.

I think overall the place is good. Sadly, due to the weekend crowds and staffing it might be a little too busy for some people and they may share a similar experience if they choose to go. I would say that yes it sucks, but it isn't unheard of in places that have a lot of tourism. If you can overlook the maybe slow service and slower communication, it might be worth the trip to check it out. I would recommend going on the weekday to have the best experience.

Parking: Parking lot is located behind the building.

We were not impressed with this restaurant at all. The wait was long even though there were open spots and seats outside which is where we choose to sit. The table we sat at , a picnic table was rotted and my boyfriend almost fell on the ground when the seat flew up because the wood was rotten and the Nails came out. We told staff who didn't seem to care that they had a lawsuit on their hands. We actually had to stop an elderly person from seating at the table because they didn't post anything on it or take it away when we told them. The food was extremely overpriced for breakfast and underwhelming. Definitely won't be back.

Not sure what's happened, since my last visit. Food, while okay, was barely warm and somewhat sparse
Our bill did not match the prices presented on menu. After two attempts it was corrected, with an explanation of the equipment and computer not working properly, and a service tech being called in. The waitress was pleasant, really only good thing I took away from experience.

Unfortunate but it seems management has the place understaffed and under stocked. Went there for breakfast around 10am & waited unreasonably long to get water, and an hour and a half for what wasn’t even half of our order. While still expecting to get the rest of it, we were told they ran out of eggs and kitchen was closing… staff was trying their best but left hungry and disappointed.

No AC, pricing was different from the menu, the food was awful. I had Irish Egg Benedict & I swear the hash was slopped straight from the can. It was so salty & not cooked, that I couldn’t eat it. Price said 15.99 & I was charged $24.99!! Waitress said owner hadn’t replaced old menus with new pricing which is total neglect on his part. I explained the price on menu is what she should be charging, she apologized & only comped us for the coffee. We will NEVER go back. Sorry I didn’t read the reviews before we went in. $45.00 for 2 breakfast meals!?!? No way.

Really gross food. The eggs Benedict came out and the eggs were watery, the holindase sauce was clumpy, the Canadian bacon was cold and tastes like it had just been pulled out of the fridge and slapped on. You could tell the servers knew the food was bad and still served it because they actually came over and asked if we thought anything was wrong with the food before we’d taken a bite. With such a high rating I had high hopes for this place. The waffles in the photos aren’t even on the menu.

DO NOT GO HERE! Service was the worst I've ever seen. Took 10 mins just to get me a water. Food took over an hour and it wasn't cooked well. The table next to us, a father with three kids had to ask us if there was a server present. When he got his food, two kids got their food and were done before he and his other kid got theirs. Awful.
