“The very first pizza I ever had came from George's over 50 years ago, and it set me up for a lifetime of disappointment. Spiro, the current propietor was barely out of diapers. Decades later, still my all-time favourite. Here I just have just plain pizza. Great crust - great sauce - perfect cheese. No other toppings. My only challenge is that sometimes it's hard to get through to order in advance. Too many other callers...No idea why ;-)”

“The people who work at the drive-through are always so nice and these are by far the best burgers I’ve ever had my whole life they want McDonald’s used to be if only other places made their burgers like this. This place is the only place with good burgers nowadays, by far the best burgers I’ve ever had McDonald’s used to be good, but then they’ve gone downhill and this place renewed my faith in burgers.”

“Ember Coal Fired Pizza was fantastic! We ordered the Chicken Pesto pizza and a traditional pizza topped with mushrooms and goat cheese, and both were outstanding. The coal-fired crust was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char, and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for excellent coal-fired pizza in Harwich Port, Ember is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re on Cape Cod!”

“Drifters is a super cool, laid back, food and drink focused eatery/bar. When you walk in, you are transported into a unique, casual, and sophisticated vibe. They have done a wonderful job with the aesthetics of the space.

We started out with a couple of cocktails. I had the tap Negroni, my wife had a Bees Knees and our son had water served from these cool recycled additive free tequila bottles. We ordered the scallop crudo, the Korean wings, the crab cakes, and the mezzi rigatoni. Every bite was well thought out, fresh, creative, and delicious. We wish that we were still hungry. Even though the menu is small (a sign of quality over quantity), there are things we still want to try.

Service is excellent. Our 8 year old enjoys walking around restaurants and capturing images (most of the photos in our reviews he takes) and they treated him like a star. In addition, we are celebrating his birthday this week and they brought out freshly made donuts, ice cream and candles for him. Thank you Drifters. Thank you.”

“What a hidden gem in the middle of Chatham. On a very busy summer Thursday night, we were seated in the bar area right away and had the best dinner and drinks! We loved the casual and fun atmosphere, as well as the excellent meals and cocktails. We never felt rushed and absolutely loved everything. Cannot recommend highly enough!”

“A must stop if you have a gluten allergy. The Server knew exactly what allergen procedures to follow, went and washed her hands, scooped my ice cream fresh from the back and freshly made me sprinkles to put on my ice cream. The ice cream was delicious!!!”

“Not 5 stars because we were celebrating my sister’s birthday and the restaurant made zero acknowledgment of it—no candle, no small dessert, no “happy birthday” written on a plate, nothing. For a high-end tasting menu ($145+), that level of hospitality is disappointing and makes it feel impersonal for a special occasion.

That said, the food itself was excellent and easily five-star quality—beautifully executed, creative, and memorable. I would recommend it for the food alone, but not for birthdays or any celebration where you expect even a small gesture.”
