Very popular during summer, good beer choices and raw oysters are delectable and frequently on special. Bit crowded and not a lot of charm!

Out of eight vacant tables that needed to be turned over during our hour of dining, not a single one was cleaned. A 0/10 for that aspect of hospitality. Oyster happy hour was 10/10 in quality and value, however.

This spot is great for casual dinning. The chopped kale salad was enough for a meal. The two fish tacos were fantastic. Great family atmosphere.

I am so pleased! We sat at the bar and loved the atmosphere. Bar tenders were great and the food… oh my goodness. Perfection! We had the sweet and spicy shrimp and the scallop risotto. It couldn’t of been better. Oh and then the banana foster to top it off!! We are more than satisfied. Worth every penny.

Owner “Griff” double booked my band at Ember (sister venue to The Port)— the manager at Ember sent us to The Port to perform instead. The Port stiffed us our payment and called the cops to remove us off of “private property” when we advocated for our earnings.

Very rude staff members. Disrespectful. The drinks were average at best. The bartender NEVER mentioned last call. My gf and I were standing near-by the bar when one of the employees literally came and snatched the drink out of my hand, another employee forcefully grabbed the drink out of my girlfriend's hand and we were told to get out. I politely asked what the reason was for us being singled out and asked to leave, the the two 'bouncers' one tall skinny Bulgarian guy and a short Mexican looking guy with a goatee beard literally got right on my face, said some disrespectful racial comments against myself and my significant other and told us to just get out. I asked for my credit card that was still behind the bar and I was denied. We were simply just kicked out there. I told the 'bouncer 'I would like my credit card back, and he just said no. It wasn't until I mentioned I was going to get a police officer and come back, and only then he went to get it. Ignorant and disrespectful staff. Highly recommend avoiding this place.

Racist and disrespectful staff. Got my night completely ruined. 2 staff members came up to us (and us only) while we quietly stood by the bar, SNATCHED our drinks out of our hands and told us we have to get out. After we politely asked the reason, they kept pulling us to the exit singling us out only. No last call was ever mentioned! My boyfriend still had his card on tab at the bar, this staff member REFUSED to let us get it, even after my bf showed his ID as proof. Completely rude and aggressive treatment, I was in tears trying just to find out the reason. Bulgarian staff member has the nerve to ask me (Eastern European girl), “How am I with him?” (Talking about my Latin boyfriend of 2 years). Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful. We wanted a nice evening out on our last day, our mood was ruined by this place and this town. If you’d like to have a nice time, I suggest avoiding this place.

This is a bar. They have fine dining prices but the service is marginal bar service and the food is bar food. Not that the seafood is bad but in midsummer every place on the Cape that wants it has good seafood. Go to this place when you want a Cape Cod bar.

Went here on vacation with my closest friends. Unfortunately, we came to this establishment. We are all from Connecticut and have Connecticut IDs. They let 7/10 of my friends in because they have a different shade of blue background. I suppose mine and 2 other of my friends was dark blue, so because of this they denied us entry and claimed they were fake! If you have out of state IDs STAY AWAY!!!!! They do not want out of state business clearly..We are way over 21 and have real Connecticut IDs. They need to fix their system of checking IDs or I presume they will lose more business. Completely unprofessional… need to fix their practices of business. Joke of a place. Managers name was Sydney I believe… maybe they need to reevaluate the way they hire their managers. The bouncer was also 20 years old! How can they allow an underage bouncer to check 21+ IDs. Unbelievable. Maybe we would’ve been better off trying to go in illegally and using fake IDs…. Haha!

Amazing place! I don’t regret walking into there. To start, it was so easy to get into, and the service was so fast! Also the food was delectable. I got the Summer Salad which was the perfect combo of sweet and savory, the truffle fries which had the best truffle I’ve tasted, my lemonade had the perfect amount of tanginess, and last but not least the fried Oreos, they were so filling and creamy, I wasn’t expecting what I got when they delivered the Oreos to me. They looked like an ice cream sundae but Oreo style. The atmosphere is quite comfortable with easy access to the door, and nice, fun background music and cool photos! I would give The Port a 4/5.

Last night was my first time at the Port, and it’ll be my last time. I understand from those I went with that this restaurant used to be upscale and had food that warranted the high prices. Apparently it’s changed. I ordered the halibut and it was so dry and over cooked it was more like chicken than fish. The beer I ordered was flat and had a soapy aftertaste, like they didn’t rinse out the glass before using it. They also charge a 4% “processing fee” that’s not on the menu and is far higher than the actual cost of processing credit cards (around 1%). The place seems to be cultivating more of a bar/bar food vibe, but is still charging fine dining prices.

We've been to The Port many times in past years. This visit we were disappointed with the new menu, and with the quality of the food. We had halibut that was overcooked, chicken served with a salad was cold and unseasoned - we brought it home for our dog. Other dishes were nothing special. Jack's Abbey beer on tap was flat. We were charged a 4% credit card fee, which seems excessive. At The Port's prices we expect much more and we won't be back.
