The Funktapuss experience offered fun, energy, and great music. The Wequasett Resort venue always delivers luxury, an incredible landscape/seascape, outstanding service, and creative menu items. Awesomeness in one package!
Great buffet - only thing missing was chowder! All the food was delicious. Entertainment was good. Our waitress was wonderful. Expensive.
What a wonderful fundraising event. The food was fantastic and plentiful. Great feeling of community and support for a good cause. I appreciate the opportunity to support this cause in such a nice way.
Trust you guys take as good of care with your Jamaican employees as you do for their country....just sayin
The Sill had the most amazing pastries and coffee! The atmosphere is beautiful and there’s a gorgeous view of the beach if you walk around the resort after grabbing a coffee. Highly recommend!

A beautiful setting with very unique (aka delicious) menus and flavors. Just wish we could pay in advance vs. afterwards when dark.
Attended Jazz festival last night. Band and venue were phenomenal. Buffet food quality was absolutely terrible, especially at a cost of $100/person with tip. Service was even worse. I've attended these events for many years and always walk away impressed. Not sure if last evening is the new normal, but I'm not sure I'd ever go back
This place has a shockingly high review for what it is. It is in a gorgeous country club but the actual coffee shop is in a space about the size of a closet. The food was nothing special and extremely expensive. For three pastries and two coffees it was 35 dollars. There are far better bakeries/coffee shops on the Cape.

buffet food was presented nicely with good options Tables were set up around stage tightly to give enough room for dance floor Band was fun great dance music Preselected Dessert brought to tables after dinner Fun night out
The music was great but the buffet was really poor quality. This was our first time going to the jazz festival at Wequassett. We've eaten at Twenty-eight Atlantic many times and loved it so we thought "how bad could the buffet be?" Well, bad. really bad. Extremely soggy salad, a cheese platter with a mound of unrecognizable mush, empty bowls, overcooked salmon. The shrimp was a bright spot. The room with the buffet was a bit small for the number of people being served so one-sided buffet with a long line... The music on the other hand was great. Honestly given the quality of Wequassett dining in other parts of the resort, they could really do much better...

We attended Supper on the Bay. The meal prepared by the chef on the lawn was perfectly executed and so special. The absolute stellar service from the wait staff was second to none. I wholeheartedly recommend this dining experience to everyone.
We are never disappointed when we visit Wequassett! Wonderful food, service, drinks, in the most beautiful setting.
Wequassett is a beautiful resort, and we were looking forward to hearing jazz and dining, as advertised on the Jazz Nights. We stood in a long line for entry into the venue, despite having reservations. There seemed to be some confusion over someone's reservation or lack there of. We were finally seated and left on our own. No one came over to greet us or take a drink order. This was our first time attending, so we would have appreciated some guidance. We hailed down the man seating ppl. Evidently we were free to just go to the buffet. We had to wait, plate in hand, as ppl took their time. Some were taking a first course, others loading up. Not a fan. Food was good, however, and we began with shrimp cocktail, cheeses and salad course. We left our used plates on the table and went back for our main dishes. We didn't enjoy the chicken thighs, and another meat dish looked very fatty, but the saffron rice and Mac and cheese with lobster were tasty. A server finally arrived for our drink order. Our used dishes and silverware had been taken, so we had to flag down another server to get us replacement silverware. Finally the wine arrived. I thought the music would start while we were still dining, but it didn't begin until 8:30. A lot of waiting around. The band sounded like a college rock band, definitely not jazz! And ppl started gathering to dance, which was fine, but they all stood right in front of our table, obscuring the band. Very annoying! We began the evening with a cocktail in the Outer Bar, which was lovely, and I think we should have just stayed there for dinner! An expensive evening, especially for a buffet, that did not turn out as I expected. We also did not like the added 20% service fee - $36.50 - for what we felt was sub par service.
We have been to these Jazz Festival events each summer many times. We know the Wequassett well. The quality just is not there now. Service very poor from our waiter. Our table had to be replaced after we sat down as it was broken (why was it even set up to begin with?) Food in the buffet was cold and this was early on in the evening. The performer was excellent but this is not worth the value any more. And they place an automatic 20% gratuity on the bill and as a result despite poor service there is nothing we could do. I called the Wequassett the next day to give some feedback but no F&B Manager would call me back. This is not the same Wequassett Resort we have known in the past! Disappointing.
We went to the Jazz Series. The entertainment was excellent. The service was terrible. It took 30 minutes for our drink order to arrive after reminding several servers. The food was cold. Overcooked and simply not good.
