Ordered a seafood combo plate. Worst meal I’ve ever had. They should have left the grease in the fryer. The fish was terrible in little pieces.
We ordered catering. Leading up to the event, the folks I spoke to on the phone were super helpful. We scheduled a delivery at 12:45pm on a Sunday. I advised between 12:30 and 1pm would be fine. We discussed this *a lot* so I wrongly assumed the restaurant would be prepared. The food arrived just after 1:30pm (right as our surprise guest of honor arrived, in fact). When I called the restaurant at 12:50 to check on our order, I was told they were still making the food. When I expressed surprise that it wasn't on its way, they said "yeah, well we're just really busy." Absolutely unbelievable. Food and tip were pre-payed, and whatever- it wasn't the delivery person's fault the food wasn't ready. Food was okay, actually someone said the wrap she had was top notch. But it's hard to tell whether most people loved it or were just really hungry by the time it arrived. Never again with this place.
Beef was closer to pot roast than roast beef . Was there on a Friday 12:45 . So disappointing. Chicken fingers were dry .
Place is definitely going down hill , we got 2 roast beefs and it was dry and had a odd taste , and it very dirty out shoes were sticking to the floor and the girl taking our order is extremely rude

Great roast beef sandwiches
3 large double wide Pepsi fridges and no Pepsi? When I told them they said what ever we have in those fridges is what they had (and that was after I told them I wanted to buy a bottle of Pepsi).
I ordered the roast beef and did not look ok. Does not look like the picture that they show. The meat did not taste fresh. Also, I could hear the staff talking among each other that is not appropriate. This is a normal iPhone 15 pro photo.

I keep trying to give this place a chance and I regret it every time. I asked for a roast beef sub with mayo and horseradish. I got a mayo and horseradish sub with roast beef.

It's really unfortunate, that this experience was ruined, due to the poor customer experience. The blonde girl taking my order, was so rude. I even apologized if I upset her. I had a couple questions because I wanted to try something new. Her tone and body language was horrible. I felt as If I was an inconvenience to her. It a shame that when my husband and I go out to lunch, costellos is typically my go to, in addition to when I work in this area, it's my lunch spot. I love the food but I dont want to feel like I annoyed someone or interrupted them. Would be the perfect spot if they had someone taking orders that enjoyed customer service. I'll probably find another lunch spot!

Happened to be in Plaistow and needed a spot for lunch, how can you pass up a roast beef spot? Sandwich was great and bbq sauce was tangy, I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.
