Firstly, did not provide a ton of details for my cake, however, I was a little surprised there was no follow-up to ask about colors, frosting flavor, etc. I still went ahead and ordered so that is on me, but I do think a business should follow-up with those questions. Especially because I was not aware there would be frosting inside the cake.Secondly, upon first glance the cake looked nice but I realized when I got home that it was poorly decorated. Her cookies look nice from the photos but this cake was not up to the same standard (smudges, lines uneven). The cake was dense and dry and had tons of frosting in the middle like I stated. For $80, I expected a higher quality, especially with all these amazing reviews. But it seems she specializes more in cookies.Finally, she was not rude at all, but I found it a little surprising when she called me at 4:30 pm saying she had to leave so when was I going to be there. I had told her I got out of work at 4 pm and would be there at 4:30 pm. I got there at 4:45 pm and did not think this would be an issue as it states they are open until 5 pm. I even called to let her know but could not get through.I will say she accommodated my last minute request.

Easy to order and the decorated cookies were not only beautifully decorated and went well with our theme but tasted just wonderful too! The cake in photo was a huge hit. Flavorful, moist and the frosting was truly delicious. A couple of days later and we are still talking about how tasty they both were. Highly recommend!

I didn't know exactly what I had in mind besides the theme, and she created something so perfect that was loved by so many people. Not only do they look great, but they taste incredible too. The Baker’s Rack made a custom cake and gluten-free cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday a few weeks ago. Both the cake and cupcakes were delicious. All of my guests raved over the quality and design of the cake. The cake was so moist and the buttercream frostings are amazing (the cookies & cream we got on the cupcakes was my favorite)!Rachel was an absolute delight to work with. I sent her a photo of our Birthday invitation and she designed the cake to match it perfectly. She is professional, kind and responded to my emails promptly.I would absolutely recommend the Baker’s Rack to anyone looking for delicious cakes & other treats!

Purchased a brownie with peanut butter and a Barbie cookie. Worst pastries I have ever eaten..the brownie tasted stale, and had no flavor. The Barbie cookie was awful. So Sorry, I usually like to do good reviews...and would always be willing to give a second chance. I purchased the brownie and the cookie on Friday, July 27 at the Ipswich Arts Fair. Very disappointed.

I got some cake slices at the farmers market. They looked amazing, however, they were super dry! They looked moist when I got them, so it was unfortunate I spent $9 for each slice. I will say the frosting and flavor were spot on, but took some milk to get the cake down.

Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with when it came to creating the cake and cupcakes for our wedding!My wife and I had a difficult time finding a baker that could make a gluten free cake other than chocolate and vanilla. We told Rachel our concerns and she was able to offer us a gf spice cake that was delicious! We also had a custom request that our 3 cats were added on top with their paw prints running up the side and she pulled it off without a hitch.For cupcakes we ordered GF Spice Cake and the Cookie Dough Cake flavors and they were a hit. A handful of our guests noted that they were some of the best cupcakes they ever had.Rachel, thank you again so much for the delicious treats, we will definitely be ordering from you again!
