I think this restaurant is consistently awesome. At a recent dinner for 4, we tried 3 apps and 2 mains (3 people ordered the same special). I was very impressed by the food and thought it was excellent but my table mates are harder to please and said "pretty good." They were sad that duck was no longer on the menu, but our server explained it. Then, my two neighbors went on their own and said "awesome food." I don't think many people would be disappointed....
Alma Nove is one of those places that just gets everything right. The moment you walk in, you feel welcomed — the staff is friendly and professional, and the view of Hingham Harbor is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. Nice date night, good vibe. Nice wine and drink list. Had the Bolognese and a chicken tortellini marsala dish. Both very good. The beet and goat cheese, arugula, pistachio salad was excellent. Will come again
