I have gone to Nonas my whole life, and tonight's experience was definitely shocking, to say the least. I am a bartender and server, and my first job was scooping ice cream. I get it when a customer comes in at 8:50 asking for a shake, it's annoying. We came in at exactly 8:30, which is my limit before any establishment closes. I really wanted a shake. The girls told me they already put away the blender. I try to be respectful to all food industry workers, but putting away shake equipment 30 minutes before would've gotten me a write-up in the past. If anything, my managers a few years back would say take people even after we had closed, different times, I guess. I get it, truly I do, but seriously, guys, even I put on a brave face in those moments; after all, we are in customer service, and I hate to have to get on here and even say this. Wasn't expecting this, but I'll go elsewhere for my shake because that's what I wanted.

Ice cream cake is literally just two piles of mediocre ice cream pushed together. There is no actual cake in it.

The place was busy when we went in around 215p on a warm Saturday. The staff were high schoolers who were polite, fast, and efficient. Our person answered our questions about three flavors with ease of knowledge and made certain to point out the container with those flavors.
